As of right now the linux (and I'm assuming win32) server files are extremely buggy... even the newest one. We're working on keeping everything up to date on our end, but it's up to Raven to give us a patch/update. yeah its happened to me as well and I got the proper game. on the seige level where you have to destroy someguys tomb. that kept crashing. and when the Rancor finally appeared. I got a scout and tried to mind trick it. but the game crashed and gave me this message "unexpected occurance" WTF Raven. _______________ .Lag Bro to Xanatos. Adopted Twin to Bubu. I deleted my Beta before I installed the retail. I'm using a genuine version. I can't join the siege server. Am currently checking to see if this is an issue with my setup, but it may not be just beta users. I know you've no reason to believe me, but don't ignopre the possibility that either a) the server may have porblems or b) Siege itself may be buggy in certain circumstances. yes our servers are from the retail version of the game. If they weren't you couldn't join them. We're speculating though that people are joining the retail servers with the illegal versions of the game. There are likely a number of things that need to occur in order to crash your game on a server, its just possible that you joined one where these didn't occur _______________ When you are going through Hell, keep going. -Sir Winston Churchill. I wouldn't be surprised if it is due to people not having the actual version, afterall you can't join a server running an illegal copy if you purchased the real game. Well it's not that we thought: Hehe let's put in a random crash code, so that everyone gets some fun. It's more likely that their is a glitch in the software and we need to wait till LA brings out a patch for it. Could it be possible that the server crashes when many players with a "hacked" JA join? Since they differ slightly? Well anyway all BUY this game! If you really play it it's worth buying. _______________ Falling from heaven is not as painfull, as surviving the impact. |
