Man this sucks this has to be my first posting as a new student, so hello all glad to be here . Now, I just purchased JA and am expierencing a staggering amount of lag when anyone but myself is on screen but only in SP even with all settings set as low as possible. I tried MP before even trying SP and still got it but there were 20 people in the middle of a FFA so that is to be expected I guess. I have a Athlon 1.8 GHZ processor, 256 MB RAM, 64MB ATI Radeon 7000, 100 MHZ FSB. I have installed direct x 9.0b, the latest drivers for my Radeon, the latest drivers for my CD-RW and have tried installing the game twice. As well as eliminated all progs in running in the background. JK2:JO ran just fine. I am obviously missing something. Can anyone help me? Thanx in advance. I've tweaked this thing as much as I can figure out how to and it helped a little but I've been reading lucasforums as Exar Kun suggested and all ATI cards seem to have the same issue. So I'll just have to wait for a patch just like everyone else and until then dive into MP and get to know my way around here. Thanks to you all.  |

I had a similar problem...for SP you should set the options to 'fast' or 'fastest'. Incredibly simple but it really did help me out |

Tried 3.6 but no dice. Oh I forgot I'm running XP with all available updates. |

Everything is off or set as low as possible and I am using driver 6.14 but I'll try to find 3.6 and see if that works. Screen size is full vs window and the resolution is as low as possible This comment was edited by Xipkell on Sep 21 2003 10:23pm. |

Did you turn off dynamic light and glow? What screensize are you at. WHat driver for the radeon are you using. People said to use 3.6. _______________ What is the difference between love and Herpes?
