Well blah. It turns out that Hux had already ported the entire map and the JACs and the JATs all have a copy of it, but its not on a server (that I know of). If you really don't care about there not being music and just want to play the map, MAKE YOURSELF BE HEARD!!! _______________ I'm crazy, not stupid. |

I do like to have the music on when I'm just taking it easy, however, the music that it switches to when you go into duel mode is nerve racking. I couldn't concentrate in a duel with a Captain Kirk battle to the death music crap blaring in my ears should I forget to turn it off. Would be nice if that could be changed. Of course I haven't looked into the mod to see if that lets you change the duel mode music. Also, it would be nice if the JA map had a huge over-haul. I mean, it gets dead boring after a while. Screw the low-poly crap use a few meshes and make something complex and intriguing to stair at rather than the same boring brushes and textures. I mean a little more than changing a few rooms and skyboxes about. Add something! DB: First, the map is in .BSP form, not .MAP, meaning I can't change the name of the music file it uses, second, it won't even accept music from JA for some reason. Buzz: At this point in time, I am going to get all the textures to work, THEN release the map as-is. Later, when Raven gets their act together and gives us a JO to JA .pk3 converter then I can re-do it properly. _______________ I'm crazy, not stupid. |

Sared, are you intending to put the map up without the music, if enough people agree, and then continue to try and figure out how to get the music to run? Or will do the correction when a better conversion method is brought out? Don't put the old music from jk2 in there, use the one from jk3 under the folder name Yavin2_old and the name of the file is yavtemp_explore.mp3 .
