Has anyone else noticed that the jedi in siege are almost useless? _______________ (Jedi)Master_Yoda-JC |

Jedi are pretty sweet in hoth. If you manage to grab the walker and get through you can simply run like hell, jump over the chasm and extend the bridge. 2 objectives right there. They're also good for transporting the access codes, because of mindtrick. Things definetly goes faster if you have a jedi who knows what he's doing on your team _______________ Second-in-command of the mighty FiZZsters |

The Jedi are very useful in Tattooine and Hoth. Both areas have places that are very close quarters for fighting. When you're on defense the jedi can quickly kill the attackers in these areas without using the heavy explosive weapons that could kill a gun users. On Hoth the Reborn is very useful. He can jump the chasm to extend the bridge much faster than otherwise possible. Force Jump is very useful in terms of dodging the enemies. When you're on offense in Tattooine the light jedi is definitely the fastest way to get around and help in advancing your team, especially at the end. Using protection is also a great thing to have there because it gives you a few extra hitpoints to survive longer. Besides you can't have the jedi being ultra powerful in this game. _______________ When you are going through Hell, keep going. -Sir Winston Churchill. actually a jedi can be useful in the tatooine map. Since they run fast than other classes and they can jump higher its easy for them to get the droid parts and return them to the falcon. _______________ Consultant, Colossal Entertainment ~Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy Maps~ |

one of the problems that i see with them is the lack of defense for sniper attacks. Unlike someone with a gun, they can only try to dodge, which usually isnt good enough. Also, even though they can push rocket and repeater alt fire back, most of the jedi cant react fast enough. Maybe what i feel the jedi lacks is something that makes it stand out apart from the other classes. Maybe it's just my long and prosperous fps career coming out, i just feel i can do everything with guns than a jedi can do with a saber, sometimes more. Dont get me wrong, i love playing as a jedi for fun, but i just feel i can accomplish more for my team if im a class that actually has a specific job, while also being able to kill as much as much as another that does not have a specific class skill. BTW, for anyone who has played RTCW: ET, doesnt siege seems strangely familiar _______________ (Jedi)Master_Yoda-JC This comment was edited by (Jedi)Master_Yoda-JC on Oct 04 2003 04:28pm. |

I beg the differ, I always use that class, those guys are essentially the flag runners but for siege. They are fast sometimes they have dark rage. I am usually always jedi on the hoth map for imperials and most parts for the desert lvl and I usually get the top score, not like that matters but they aren't useless. _______________ What is the difference between love and Herpes?
