hhhmmm. Sometimes i wish I hadn't bought. Other times it's cool. The SP mode is much better than JK2. However for me, MP is too fast and seems a bit slopy. If ur gonna buy it, getit at a used game store. Dual sabers absolutly rocks...and the storyline aint half bad either I haven't played it online yet, so I can't comment, but in solo multiplayer (does that even make sense? Lol) the bots could do with a bit of an ai update. But it was worth every one of the $89 it cost in down under. Get it. I believe its well worth the money. Its diffrent the jk2 in alot of reguards and needs some tweaking but it is the furture of the academy. Im sure we will hang on to jk2 until jk3 maps get up and runnign and we get patched up.. tough question.. altough I think what Jake said is very true, I'd atleast wait and see what the patch can do. JK:JA has many improved things compared to JK2 (e.g. graphics, maps, siege, things like that.. unfortunately, duelling is not one of them. but then again, æøå works in-game in JK:JA (). tough question indeed. _______________ -Darkwood- |

Wait for price drop and pacht release! Cant say i regret buying it,but i could have waited! EDIT: and jk2 is still much better in dueling! The Staff and duel sabers are too random in fighting style No tactics,, too many fineshing moves! anyone can make a roll stab and finish the whole thing! jk3 is definitly worth it , [you are talking about jk3 right?] even if siege , is'nt entirely fixed . it's still good , and in sp , if you use stance cheats , with 1-saber , you can go staff , and duel style , how many other's noticed that. |

Jacen, as a player you changed alot and I'm proud of that. At first I considered you as just one of the everyday, run of the mill 'RPG' players who spent more time on IRC and having a laugh than they did on servers pwning I mainly noticed this when we started playing insta, but anyway, answering your question.... If I were you, and I knew what I did now I probably wouldn't buy this game. If you're rich and money is really no obejct then go ahead, knock yourself out. As I consider you a proper 'player' now, like myself I really don't think that this game will hold anything for you. I can prolly count on one hand the amount of JK:JA games I've had since the release day. You're a very academy social person, so chances are you'll get it just to hang out with people, but from a gameplay point of view, I don't reckon you'll like it for long. I only notice two bugs, I don't give a damn about any of the others ones.The color things under you when you right click fire the blaster and the one where you roll from one position and attack at the other but it still attacks at your other position. |

yes and yep to that. Of course. Much better than jk2, different lvls, different sabers, an AWSOME Sp mode. (Did i spell awsome right?) And Ya everythign was good. The gameplay is a tiny bit different than jk2 but you'll get used to it if you JAK . |

Hard one, though the graphics and levels are cool, and dual and staff sabers aswell. I thought SP was rather quick and easy, even in JM mode. And MP, Siege is great, the maps aswell, yet duelling and some other things are a bit bad imo. But seeing there will be a patch ( soon I hope) those probs will be fixed, aswell as the JAMod will fix somethings, over all, Yes Aratan I would buy the game. |
