Bail mentioned it below, but since I installed the patch, a lot of my skys are messed up, SP & MP. Not the worst thing in the world, but just really annoying! if the PC version of KOTOR is anything like the xbox one, you select which move you want your character to do then he goes and does it. Sorta like Diablo, where you say, "attack him" and your char runs up and swings. They seem to have just added niceties in this patch instead of dealing with the big issues. I've got a feeling that they're working on a bigger patch, but just released this one to keep us happy. If you look at what's changed, it's not really vitally important - rockets locking on to dead people - being able to select a maxed out force power etc. Looks like we get to play the waiting game again  _______________ A true friend isn't the one bailing you out of jail, he's the one sitting next to you saying, "Man, that was cool!"

well, i believe kotor contains more movie-like duelling, but u can't really do the duellin urself in that game. (meaning the spacebar isn't bound to "jump"  ) |

I think I have posted this before, but It would seem to me that the crazy damage has been slightly improved, but not really, backwards rolling is imposible from standing, I noticed no difference on the others, the kick for the staff is better, and does like 3 damage now, but over all there is little change for 11mb. _______________ Using no way as way. Ever since applying the patch I am now able to do the 2 spin with ydfa end combo again. Its not done exactly the smae way as in JK2 but I noticed that saber handling has smoothed out some. I want to make a suggestion for the JKA server if I may. Turn off the ghoul2collision setting. By default it was turned off in JK2 but in JKA it is on by default. Ender |

This patch has been a slight improvement. I believe all the servers are showing up on the game screen, this is good. Also, it takes time to get this down right. JK2 did not reach it's mastery with the first patch either nor the second nor the third. Be patient. Does your screen say anything or it just doesn't open when you double click on it? Because if that's the case you'll have to reinstall everything. I do have to agree with Kenyon, we were goofing around dueling last night, and I was slightly caught off guard with a slight speed up of reaction to the red saber stance after a parry or deflection. _______________ Be honorable, be friendly, be trustworthy. Did anyone else notice that with this "patch", if that's what you wanna call it (I call it a PITA...Pain In The Ass), that the game freezes on map changes? It's been doing it to me ever since I installed it. Also, you can't play on JA servers that don't have the patch installed yet. What the hell kind of patch is this? PLz Help! I wanna TeSt the Patch too, but I have big probz with it, my JKA crash after the "Awaiting Gamestat" Screen I don't know what 2 do, its not @ all serverz but @ the most in ASE with the patch on I`ve tried to reinstall, to remove the scriptz, but the problem is still there *buuhuuhuu* PS. I wouldn't know. For every post I see here smackign the patch down, I can refer you to a post praising it. And smack me for it, but I like this patch. Yes, it's true, damage still absolutely sucks. However, saber duels *have* changed a bit. I found this out last night (and Janus was there to confirm it): red has speeded up a bit. It makes for better balance. |

Realize that what I am about to say is to spark debate and I am not trying to be disrespectful to the Academy. "It seems that they aren't listening to the JA at least. " Why should they? We are one online community among how many? Raven, obviously developed a patch that fixed certain issues that they saw in the game. I am sure they wanted to improve their game for their players when they built it. What are other forums saying? Basically what I am trying to say is, is the voice of those who dislike the new features to JA and the 1.01 patch in the minority or the majority of online players? It seems that they aren't listening to the JA at least. And I have heard that flying is messed up fomr NFF, yet I haven't tried it myself after I patched my game. I think I'll try it soon. |

I'm going to reiterate what's already said, so basically this is kind of a rant... ROLLING SUCKS Why in the HELL would they nerf the backwards roll? Now we have no alternative but to backflip or jump? Somebody at Raven either has a cruel sense of humor or they just like that single saberists have one less alternative to avoid the god dang butterfly. I think they are all smoking crack myself!
