Im sorry to waste the important space of the Academy thread but i am absolutley sick of all these "Im leaving" posts. I concur and dissent. First off, I do not agree with you getting all hot over "common" members of the JA posting on the forums that they are leaving. i believe that everyone in the JA, including those who some have never heard of, has a right and the duty to post on the forums if they are seriously leaving, and if they have a real, good reason that most of us can relate to or learn from in the future. I've seen a lot of people that I've known for a while leave because of good reasons, like RL or whatever, and it's stuff that I can relate to and wish good luck to those who are leaving. Second, what I agree with you is that people should NOT be posting such threads if they are joking or have a really stupid reason for leaving. I see posts like "I'm leaving the JA..." only to find out he/she/it is just going to the nearby corner store. (does this remind you guys of a certain post? ) Also, i've seen people blast the JA for stupid reasons like, no one likes me, or, no one listens to me. For frack's sake, go find someone who can help you! Also, Jedi Knight is only a game. No need to get psychotic over it or whatever. that of course, is a little over the top, but do you see what I mean? LOL! Wow man that's just rude. People that you think might just be commoners have a lot of friends here. I'm not saying this place is cliquish and it is to some degree but most perceived cliques are really just a group of friends that happen to always be on at the same time. You might just be one of those people that comes on when most others do to but that doesn't make you more popular than the next person. I don't know where you got the idea that this place is a smaller version of the U.S. post 1920 but it's not. I like to hear from people that I haven't had the chance to know. Especially if they're leaving because it's another person that I might have known if I had the chance. I also like to say bye too if I liked them or they seemed nice.
