Okay guys, Beta 3 should be ready for release within the next week or so. So what I'm looking for from you guys is to state what changes you think should be made to the existing map. Anything that you think should be changed will do here, both Major and Minor changes. Just don't reply saying "I think you should add a room for this" or "You should put that in the Lake area" because we already know how many more rooms there will be and what we are going to put in them. What I am looking for here is your opinions to changes to parts of the Map that already exist. IE - The Courtyard, The Fortress, The Training Rooms and the Temple. Oh yes, please bare in mind that the Server crashing is not a result of the Map. Spawning alot of NPCs does not crash the Server. The Home and Classes Servers currently use an older version of cHoSeN oNe's JA Reloaded Mod, which can cause Server Crashes via Saberlocks. C1 has since fixed this problem, and we are just waiting for the update to be added to the Servers. ![]() So.....GO!! ![]() - Virtue. ![]() _______________ Academy Architect |

Making it more 'true' to StarWars will not make it better other than a better visual experience, which we all know dies down e.g Mune's Bar (Everyone loved it; I barely see anyone step in there now). We should avoid fancy stuff and add more fun and gameplay, take 3th's ideas for example. _______________ You are not your f***ing system specs. i don't know if this is manageable or not, but it might be nice to offset the doors from the courtyard to the training rooms, as it is now when someone walks into the middle room from the courtyard, both of those doors open and you have direct line of sight out to the courtyard and framerates drop. in the fortress area i would make it more like it's own mini-map. what i mean by that is adding more corridors and level to level changes so when you're fighting with guns its more like one of the maps you might play a full FFA match on. maybe even add some pits (as in pits of death) so if you're playing a FFA with force in that area, grip and push become somewhat useful and we can practice with them. _______________ this is the internet, be serious damn it! |

They know about that bug and will fix it. Cossyc: as for removing rooms the rooms that no one use are still underconstruction and will be finished soon. as for my input. there are some bugs/visual issues that i can see and will post links to screen shots when i return from class in a few hours. I also think that the hall way on the 2nd floor is a bit bear and could use some decoration maybe a sort of hall o' fame hallway could be set up? _______________ When a Man lies he murder's some part of the world. I mean the courtyard, where you have that small heap or hill, and there's a point which is like a small hole covered with leafs. You cannot see it from the outside but you can get into it, crouch in it, and that way you can almost completely hide (I guess only your head stays visible... enough for a headshot.![]() _______________ When Chuck Norris is late, time better slows the **** down. JumpinJedi, you always spawn as far away as possbile from the place you were killed, so you would still have to walk far to go back after getting killed ![]() I think a spawnpoint in the center of the map is good, that way everyone will know there way after checking out the map ![]() *BTW* You should make symbol or colored things above the doors in the Yard so people know where what training room is, now you gotta look in all three to search for the pit as example ![]() |

Also, I think the "monument" looks like a big penis statue. Maybe you should add that big Jedi statue model thing? That's about it from the King. ![]() |

Oow yeah...remembered something else. The spawnpoint could be better, perhaps you could put a roof on it with some moss and plants like those ruins have in the Yard. That way it will look better then the small 'stairs' there are now ![]() Cossyc, what glitch/pit do you mean? |

Hey there, However you asked not to reply with adding or removing rooms, I'd like to add something about that. As I see it, other places than the courtyard, the fortress, the main hall, the ceremonial hall, and one or two of the dojos are barely used. Maybe removing some of them would be a neat idea. I guess that you already got some suggestions about a room/place dedicated to Vladarion so I won't say anything more about it. My actual suggestion would be to remove that glitch/pit at the courtyard for one reason. I lost a duel because of that and since then I'm angry with that spot. ![]() Otherwise, Beta2 was a great work, and I hope Beta3 will be better - if it's possible. Take care: Cossyc [Edit] I just read M@ul's comment, and I agree that maybe the main hall (and perhaps the ceremonial hall, may I add) should have some stuff that reminds us that they have more purposes than just to fight there. w00tness Virty....Virty and FaDed r0x0rz ![]() Well...i'd like to see some more detail to the Fortress. Have some more hiding places, make the walls and floor better detailed, perhaps some destroyed walls or pillars around to hide behind. I think that the Main Hall, were you can go up the lift or to the Bar could have some more details, for example some more statues or perhaps some direction signs ![]() ![]() ![]() The door to the Main Class Room, the first one after coming from the elevator needs to be a bit higher like the second door leading to the NPC Rooms. That way it looks better and it will be the same as the other doors. Perhaps you could place the Health and Shields in the NPC Room in closets...which you walk up to and grab then instead of just on the floor. This i'd like to see for the Guns and Ammo in the Fortress aswell, doesn't need to be in a closet, but it looks less nice just being there on the floor.
