Well, I'll pull out the example of KhaosPrime Freelancer RP Server. There were two types of modifications there. Deadline ones like the mod (which updates trade routes, commodity prices etc.) which needs to be out every once and a while or else people will start leaving like crazy. The other type is the non-deadline ones that people wouldn't leave over like new systems and ships. The map here is something in between. And as it was said, stress can make errors, can make you get much better (as was the case in my modding time) but most likely it will just create a poor product. I generally push for updates on things like this. But now I'm not because I have no idea how to make maps in this type of game. I only know how to make Freelancer systems which is all code .ini (Even then I didn't do that, I was incharge of the custom DLL we made for the server, I could say "I'm done adding all your ship names, and half of the descriptions" So the best thing I could do here is just agree and say, wait. Beta 2 is pretty nice anyways. _______________ Some friends wear pants, some don't. |

ok as Aphex said, Beta 2 is fine for me and I can wait until beta 3 is out.
