Well, I figured instead of getting swamped with e-mails, this would be a better solution for all you guys/gals to list the ideas you'd like to see in the next version of the JA Mod.

OmniMod changes a lot of the gameplay in Jk2. That's not what we're about here...Teaching people how to play the game the way it was made is our goal. Owning on modded servers comes along with it...If you look closely to servers out there, you will notice most of them are either modded with Vulcanus, JA Mod, or our great friends at xMod. _______________ Get busy living, or get busy dying. |

Obi-Wan is that a client side mod or a server side mod. I'm pretty sure most people want to keep it server side. That way new people to the academy only have to go and get the map to be able to start playing on the servers. Not asking and searching for which mods they need to get and where they have to put it and so on. I know that its not the complicated to most people but not every person is as computer savy as others. Well yes they could use those models, but they can change them for duels, if you think they have an advantage than just use the same model, or be a jawa. You could also just not duel them if they are stubborn enough to say they wont change it. Anyways who wants to due somebody thats, pardon the cliche, "noob" enough to say "i will only use this model cuz hes my favorite"? If size becomes a problem you can just make a rule about it. It's mainly there for the rp reasons or because its fun to walk around so small. We could always use a modified version of it and remove whatever elements are abuse, ex size and such. I mean come on... custom hilts *giggles while pwnign it up with darth mauls saber hilt* *clears throat* ahem guess thats my 2 cents. |

i would be wary about allowing differeant size cahracters, after all then peopel would all be yoda or R2D2 saying "hey he is my favorite" and they get HUGE advantages in duesl with no disadvantages, i would prefer to have a VERY close reletive of the JA mod. _______________ Midbie Council Member #13 Padawan of SilkMonkey Stuntman extraordinaire |

Have you thought about omnimod? Or a modified version of it? A ton of added features including size. Great emotes and more custom cookies. Ex. you can pick the skin you want for your saber hilt or both if your using two sabers. (dual sabers can be turned off) |

well, I can program something that can automatically kick for idle at a certain time. Perhaps make a cVar that does that...so if you idle for more than "50" for example, you get kicked to spectator. 1.1 is on KS classes/training only server at this time. There are several changes/fixes I made.
-new cVar to change welcome message to whatever you wish. -4 new message cVars to customize admin log-in session. -expanded Jedi Vs. Merc mode -amgametype <gametype> <map> : allows admin to change gametype and map -amhelp : new help system for everyone. Shows admin command help for admins. Custom help cVar "g_mHelpInfo" displays your own personal help when set in the servers "academy.cfg" file. -fixed/optimized some function calls to make it more stable. Enjoy!!! NOTE: I'm continuing to code, so this isnt an offical 1.1 release...Just threw it up there for now _______________ Get busy living, or get busy dying. |

"""" one of the pub clan servers i've been on had a /talk command. so you put like /talk 13 and it had kyles voice say something. while i was a trooper in it..as always.. i did the /talk and it gave me the usual 1 to 15 for kyles voice but also it had in brackets (61 to 72 for trooper sounds) so i did like /talk 63 and my trooper said "hey your not authorised to be here" so basically all it is doing is calling up all the voices from the SP game and having them said in MP. that way it would give people more of a choice for what their char would say instead of all my trooper saying "Hey, You there..." even i don't do it as much as i used to. plus it could open up tons of possibilites for making Demo's where the script isn't typed but said through out the whole demo....hope you like my suggestion """" there you go..and you said it shouldn't be hard.. _______________ .Lag Bro to Xanatos.
