here's a good patch to get much better fps in ffa private dueling. it removes the glowy "lightsuit" effect and only brightens up your opponent a bit. only catch is... the server must have the file also. this is why i suggest that this file is also uploaded to academy servers. if clients don't have the file, the lightsuit remains as it was before. so.. your choice  here's the link: http://www.dark-academy.net/downloads.html choose "patches : saber challenge patch" from the list and click 'go'. install to your base-folder. _______________ no pain, no gain. |

I also want to offer my CFG that I use for FPS boosting. I have an older computer so I really strive for the crappiest image I can get  . But I can hold a fairly constant 100-120fps depending on the map. |

but one problem is that when you go through doors or on the lift in the fort on the JA map your ping goes through the roof and its very hard to judge where to turn |
