Okay lets do a throw back, AND it includes a brief period of time in the Dark Forces series...JK4 starring (drum roll please) Mara Jade, yes the lady from "Mysteries of the Sith" expansion pack back and starring in her own game, you can include Kyle too because of their master/padawan moments back in the day. I think it would be great plus you'd get a little taste of the Academy again seeing as how the lady is married to Luke...I think if it was a Mara Jade game...you can't go wrong!!! _______________ Look unto me for I possess the blue flag!! they wont make a jedi accademy 2 because it sucks... im sorry...but as a single player game it sucked major ass...outcast was a good game, accademy wasnt. now i agree with most that multiplayer is much better in most respects...but they wont make a multiplayer only game because the market isnt big enough....it just aint gonna happen... if it does though...i think they'll wait for the unreal 3 or doom 3 engine to be released to get good lighting effects from the sabers. _______________ Size matters not...it is how you wave your saber that counts |

I really doubt that LucasArts would put Jaden in as an antagonist. Why? Because you customized him/her. Unless they give you the option to customize Jaden again, it'd be a pity to put him/her in as a character that didn't, in your book, finish 12-15 levels. _______________ "Before reaching Knighthood, all Jedi make a sacrifice. I dunno what would be in it, but the ability to throw nearby objects would be neat. By out side the time line I meant, it's not a major part of the story, JA it has to be said is more of an expansion on JK2:JO than a completely new game. Also the simple fact that a Katarn is not the main character means that they don’t always revolve the game around one character, because if u played DarkForces you would know that all the DarkForces games, including Jedi Knight 2 revolve around Kyle katarn, and so if JA was meant to be within the series as it's own game, you would have thought that Kyle would again be the main character. I agree it’s time for a new storyline. I know you guys have heard me say this a million times already but I can’t stop thinking about it. I know that Lucas Arts is going to start using the Unreal engine. They have to! There’s no other engine already tried and tested that can take the next plunge into gaming. The usage of the Unreal engine for Star Wars based games will merge several markets to one product. Now before I get bashed for praising the Unreal engine please note that when some companies started to use the 3.0 engine of Unreal they thought they could make the detail of their games maxed out and later realized no one could afford a $1,000.00 video card. The 3.0 engine gets used for SWRC and should operate as well if not better than UT2k3 & 4. Forget about the vong story, I doubt that will happen, since no one will know, except EU fans, who are the vong. If Raven comes out with a new JK game it will probably revolve around Jacen again, just like their Star Trek games revolve around Monroe. Now I dont know about the rest of you but the saber dueling is good, the dmg may need tweaking but when you'er going head to head against a person its good but saber dmg is always buggy, a player could get hit in their pinky toe with red stance and they lose half or more of their shields. _______________ Consultant, Colossal Entertainment ~Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy Maps~ |

The way I hope they make the battle system is like "Techu Wrath of Heaven" Ive used 2 play that a bit while I was visiting my cusins house.. The battle system there is preety neat plus they should OF COURSE make better charactor models and not use the Q3 engine _______________ Sister to Smily,Axion,and CT Friend to ALL... Im kinda hoping they move away from the Katarn Story Line and pick up on the Yuz Vong (SP?). I mean theres a real challenge for you. The Vong are according to the books "outside the Force in a way" They cant be sensed through the force and have some resists to it. The Empire and all its goofball cronies are no match for the Jedi period. I think it would be very cool to take an opportunity to play as Jacen or Janina or Anakin Solo. Lets get more content with the main figures!!!! Thats my two cents |

Well...although not Jedi Knight 4...there is Star Wars Battlefront in development... This is pretty much Battlefield 1942...with a Star Wars shell... Controlling the movements of your saber with a joystick (right hand), and controlling movements of the body, and everything else, with the left hand. The left hand controller wouldn't be a keybourd, but a mouse, turned into a very small keyboard. So you can move it around while pressing the buttons on top of it!
