Well...although not Jedi Knight 4...there is Star Wars Battlefront in development... This is pretty much Battlefield 1942...with a Star Wars shell... Controlling the movements of your saber with a joystick (right hand), and controlling movements of the body, and everything else, with the left hand. The left hand controller wouldn't be a keybourd, but a mouse, turned into a very small keyboard. So you can move it around while pressing the buttons on top of it! How about using two saber staves? Everyone talks about how you can throw saber and block at the same time in JA, but you can't, why not make that so in the next game? Using a saber and a gun at the same time would be cool. And block blaster shots with your hand Vader style. And while I'm at it: the ability to grip items and throw them at bad guys. _______________ Why use only one saber, when you can use two, and double the mayhem? |

Yep I agree: - new characters. - new MP-skins. - new sounds. - new sabers. - new styles. - new/improved levels/graphics (they're good now, but not excellent YET) - Levels are now ALMOST the same: Jaden with saber and guns. . . . So, I think, well, I WISH that in a next Jedi Knight-game you'll have the possibilitly to find a ship and go to another planet, or like in Episode II, that you must chase someone. . . |

Think you guys are getting your hopes up a little Obviously both the new Jedi Knight games (refering to JKII and JA ) were never going to be as popular as say CS due to the target market but from a success point of view, they didn't really do too well  Think of JKII when it came out, people complaining, 2 patches released and then raven abandoning the community since it was no longer worth the effort. This gives a bad impression for JA, and what happens, its hyped up again (though not as much as its quite soon after JKII) and its a total dissapointment (even the people that love it still have bad things to say about it, which in my view means it was a failure) To cut a long story short, I think raven have finally learnt from their mistakes and won't be releasing another Jedi Knight game for at least 2 years and if they do decide to make one I hope they don't use gameplay stuff from JA as a base for ideas or I for one will be VERY dissapointed, but hey its only me, what do I know ? _______________ Apprenctice of Jedi Master Ascari (deceased) Descended from a line of great Jedi Will argue any point of view from any side

I have a feeling that the next Jedi Knight game would return the story back to the Katarn's as the whole Darkforces series is based around Kyle, and there for would not follow on from JA directly, it was also hinted at by one of the raven staff that the next game would be following Kyle and Jan's son. Due to the fact that JA's full title is Jedi Knight : Jedi Academy, and like i said befor the Darkforces series follows the Katarn's i think the next game will prob be JK3 and JA's more like Vice city ie outside of the games time line. With all the fans out there I would be suprised if there wouldn't be another JK game. I think they're waiting for a greater engine with more capabilities. And they probably let this new JK4 wait some time. They did release JO and JA with not much time in between. Or am I wrong? Anyway there's a foundation for another game and unless Lucasarts is forced to cease producing games (which isn't going to happen) I'm very positive that JK4 will be here within the next few years. _______________ 362 Ohi on! |

If there's a JK:JA2 then it would probably continue the adventures of the f00l Jaden! omg l31k omg Well, light side has a pretty ending-ish ending, except for when Kyle said that there's a whole world of danger out there, and asking Jaden if s/he wanted to do more missions, so I guess LSide would have an ending. Dark Side, of course, looks like it would be continued. I mean, before I saw Jaden in the ship, when Kyle said things like he would deal with Jaden, I thought there would be at least one more level, but, well, you know. _______________ slorp |

What they need to do is instead of just having fast, medium, and slow stances, they should have styles. These styles would be like Katana, Chinese long sword, fencing, ect... And each of these styles would have its own fast, medium, and slow stances. At least that would make the game alot more interesting to me. |

I am very sure it will be on a much larger scale than we are used to. I hope Lucasarts get rid of Raven Software, they are really not talented in my opinion. They modify a Quake3 Engine for this and this game series deserves BETTER. The physics are way too smooth which is typical of a Q3 Engine so you cant be THAT precise. I love JO and JA but thats because i am a SW fan and love saber fighting. In Jedi Knight 4 i hope for online roleplaying, 100 models to choose from (everyone online these days look the same) and really put more advanced action into the saber.
