That's probably true. I wonder, though, if the pen might be mightier if we limit our study strictly to the industrialized nations? Java, consider the foreign countries and Afrika, they have swords there, and there is also fighting there. I've heard the ballpoint pen statistic before but never been able to confirm it. Anyone? It does sound believable, though. Gradius, I wasn't trying to give you a hard time at all. Just showing some ways a claim like that can be evaluated with a minimum of research, just some basic math. I still discover things all the time that I thought were true and are actually verifiably false, and I don't think I'm dumb by any stretch of the imagination.
