ok ppl. I don't play on the public servers very often so i'm a bit curious and decided to make this thread. The question: Who is the best dueler u've ever come across? Descibe their playing style and saber type plz.  And it's just no force dueling.  |

My old Mentor and only mentor, Dave, He ruled so muchhh. I met him when i just started playing JK2 and was a newbie n00b lamer and so on lol he trained me even though it was one hell of a job, but it went well and he was fun to be with, he could have fun and do some fights for fun, but when we trained it was for real, no fuzzing around, it might sound a bit harsh and boring but it was quite cool actually, i learned so much, and i beated all i met, it felt so good to be able to own all others. But now its been so long since, a couple of years, and i have trained so many other padawans and n00bs, to become good fighters, and now ive totally lost it, i left it becourse i dint belived i was needed, but now i want to learn it all again. And i think this is jus the place i need to learn it  . The Jedi Academy RUUUUUUUUUUULEEEEEE!!! ive been here once and i loved it!! YOU OWN! DJ AND MASSADOOBIE!!! AND ALL YOU OTHERS TOO!! RULE ON!! LONG LIVE THE ACADEMY!!!! |

IMO, pubs are definitely better than the JA. And when I say pubs I'm talking about the ones that belong to 1337 clans. If you go there, you'll see more experienced players and different styles than you see here. There are a few people here that are as good as them, but overall, those pubs have more skill than the JA does. |

One of our students duelled me yesterday and was happy he was winning. I could tell this student felt a satisfaction that is hard to get on a public. After the many times we faced each other, I had always been untouchable to this person. He had reached a milestone in his Jedi training. He learned how to get me! LOL On a public server in duelling mode, people want to play so they do stupid stuff like tell your opponent you have 3 hp left. Its just not my cup of tea. That should be posted permently P.S. Depends on which pubs you go to. If you wanna hop on a proper FFA/CTF server, though, the JA people don't stand much of a chance. |

I agree Jake, its hard to be the "best" at every aspect of Jedi. I think that duelling is the largest interest for most people, though, when it comes to JK. The other modes in my opinion are just for breaking the monotony here at the JA. Don't see too many peeps playin siege or CTF. Its rare, but sometimes a JAK+ will come and change the mode over to CTF on the main server. Its fun, but doesn't really doesn't make the majority of people come back for more like duelling does. _______________ Gone but hopefully not forgotten... |

Winning duels doesn't mean you pwn at the other (in my view 'more important' elements ) of the game. As many before me have said, there is always someone who is stronger than the person you have duelled with. Maybe it's the same person who got defeated by you in the previous duel? Who knows. If anyone finds really undefeatable person, please let others know.
