The recently departed La Magra asked the Council to post this email from him, so here it is: "hey, I don't know where to start but as some of you might know allready I've recently been banned from the JA. I am taking full responsibility for the ban, because I believe that the council took the right decision. I'd like to apologize to the ppl I've hurt with my actions. I'd never ment to hurt any of you. But the truth is that I did hurt some of you and I deserve to be punished so I am accepting this ban without further fight. I'd also like to say, alltho it is unlikely, but if the council should decide to lift my ban, I'll probably never return to the JA. The JA has been a part of my life for more than a year and a half and I loved every moment here. But I won't return for one reason. Missing the JA is a constant reminder of what I've done wrong, it will remind me of whats wrong with my personality and for those that I've and other, I promise that I'll never let it get this far ever again. I don't blame anyone for looking at me differently or being disgusted with me cause quite frankly I am disgusted with myself at the moment. I've hurt some ppl that I care very much about and thats absolutly untolarable. I also like to mention that from this moment I won't message any JA member ever again, unless they make it clear to me that they still want to keep in contact with me (which I am hoping that few of the good friends I made here will do, and that they will forgive me for what I've done). Thats all I wanted to say. For whats its worth, I truly am sorry about my actions. Aron, please don't take this personal, but do you even read my posts before you answer them? Did I even once say I want him back in? NO. I said: If the JAC's would ask my opinion... WOULD is the point here, which they obviously won't. I know I am in no position to say 'bring him back in' since I have no idea what transpired with him. We have 5 Council members, each VERY trustworthy. If you think they are leaking information to students who shouldn't know about it, feel free to. ... they don't. Don't come with stuff like "i would bring him back in, lift his ban" if you don't know every detail. Harsh as it may sound, students are NOT in the position to make remarks like that if they don't know all the details. No one here likes banning people, no matter who or what. Because some matters are just too sensitive to give out all the details, you will just have to believe the Council on their word. The ban WAS justified. I can understand that a lot of people never saw any of this, because they still see the "old Magra", but please keep in mind that you just don't know everything, and won't get to know it either. As I said, no one likes to ban people. This thread is here because Magra wanted to let you know how he felt about the things he did, not as a discussion on if the ban was justified or not. Magra made a mistake, and he has been banned for it. Permanently. If he is truly sorry, it is a good thing, but it still means he has to pay the price for it. hey this shocks me too man but I trust the JAC's judgement on this matter. And I don't think he got banned over night here, I'm sure he had some remarks to stop it first. It's a sad day when a Trainer needs to get banned  Let's hope we never have to do that again. And sure, if the JAC would ask my opinion, I'd say 'Bring him back in', but like he said himself, he probably wouldn't return here. He is sorry, which is obvious in his mail, but he doesn't want to return. How can he return? He will just be watched angrily by some, and how can he undergo such a treatment? I agree with him, actually. If I would've been banned and lifted, and if I've been banned for a very serious reason, I'd probably not return. Cuzza, it is not a one time event. He has done it before, and trust me, it was well deserved, considering what was done (and since I'm very fond of some of the people he harassed, I cannot say I'm sorry to see him go). Just my 0.25 DKR. |

Yes, i agree, this DOES shock me, but even more so that loafs bans. As u could see, loaf was a great guy until he went downhill, we knew something was wrong and we knew he was gonna get banned, but this? this is toally different. I really dont know why he got banned (well i do, thanks to doobie) but i really never knew anything was wrong man, if i was a part of the JAC, i'd definitly lift ur ban, because i know what ur like as an alround guy. Even if u did do something wrong, however bad it was (unless really serious) i think a ban was unneccassry. I shouldn't say this, but if we all did one thing wrong, then we'd all be banned. Sry JA, i'm just stickin' up for my mate, like you guys would do. Well, I just found this thread now, and I wish to add my word to it. To Maggy, I'm sorry all this happened and I'm glad you apologized about it. This whole thing made me uncomfortable with you but I'll try to keep in touch, as I remind the good times we had. To the persons I've being asking more details about that, I apologize for my insistance but I've been a good friend of LaMagra so far and I needed to get more info in order to have an objective insight. I don't think we need anymore information, and that things best be kept private considering the nature of this ban. I think Doobie was "generous" if such can be called, and that right now the only thing we have to go on is that the ban is pretty justified, and I for one believe the apology is sincere. As LaMagra said, even if the ban is lifted he doesn't feel like returning, so in a way this is his official goodbye. I do wish him the best. |
