Ok here’s how it is guys… Now I know this is a long post but read it anyway cause you might learn something. I was thinking of posting this under “Looking for a Master?” and then I thought “no might not get read there” and then I thought “how about the Looking for a Padawan?” but I decided that wouldn’t get the message across to everyone; and putting it in both forums really is spamming so I opted for here. Hope you enjoy… A long time ago way back, oh say well over a year now, a couple of us students started to get to know each other on the servers. We came from all walks of life and so on. The one thing we all had in common though was the desire to learn JK2 inside and out. We did! Together we taught each other how to duel, use the force, and blow each other up. We often times refer to each other as “Bro” or “Cuz” even though we had no Jedi Academy relation to each other. We bonded not because we shared the same likings nor the same talents but because we put our differences aside to help each other. We worked together for the betterment of all of us and in the end it worked. Many people assumed we were a clique. We weren’t and we still aren’t! We’re still just a group of guys that get together to help each other have fun and learn. Most of us still have nothing in common except for JK. It takes nothing more than to work together to get the job done but it takes setting aside your differences first to start working together. None of my Bro’s or Cuz’s or even me would ever tell another person here that we wouldn’t help you. Any time any of you want a friend, a dueling buddy, or even a sounding board you need to now that you can come to us. Some of us aren’t Knights or the above but we still know what we’re doing even if we’ve lost our edge. We have a lot of experience that has been handed down to us from some of the great’s like Hux. I’m Doppelganger and I’ve been with this Academy for a year and five months (if I added on my fingers on toes right; and no I don't have 7 extra digits). I may have been away for a while but I’m back. I plan on staying too; and I’d be happy to help and receive help from any of you because I make no claim that I’m above anyone. I’m just an equal. Great post Dopp.. Great thing to say  i agree with 3th, however im even younger (bout 4 months here) i woud say summat similat but... 1) im not at all good at JK# 2) No1 likes me  (i demand a sympathy vote) nwa i was j/k...3) ...welll there isnt a 3 I'm still willing to help people though... -Aiden |

I believe I know what the problem is. You’re trying to log on to a JK3 server when you’re playing the JK2 game. Otherwise you’ve not downloaded the 1.01 patch for JK3. If you don’t have JK3 then you’ll have to log onto the servers that are marked “[JA] Home” not the “jk3-home”. Make since? Check what server you're trying to connect to JK3 uses protocol version 26. If you're trying to use JK2 to connect to a JK3 server - you'll get that message. _______________ Website |

Okay I'll try to shorten it some. But I signed up for 1 of Faded's classes I went on there but they said no one was on that server. I double checked the IP and I copyed it down wrong signed up for another one of his classes I put the correct IP in and the password. It finally said that people were on it but it said protocal 26 & wouldn't let me on. (katan) told me to download the maps & updates again so I did yet it still said protocal 26 even though I downloaded everything twice. Dopp, I did it too in the old days. It still happens now too. A lot of Students just giving hints to anyone they meet. Aphex and Grem joined in November and Damon joined about the same time as me I think. I know I remember this correctly… I think? Hey 3th, happy 6th month! That sweet map of mine disappeared with allot of good things I’ve made. I had a malicious virus on my computer recently that screwed windows up pretty bad.
