Well... I tried to do somethin biiig...and failed 6 times. This is enough for me then =P My goal was to gain 10000 frags in one Session but this kinda didnt worked...if it wasnt a skin update, then it was a server pass change....if it wasnt a mod update, then it was my isp who crashed...if it wasnt a kick due inactivity, then it was a complete server breakdown Yea...it seems like i aint got no luck at all... Whateva... The Score was like this: Disconnect 1- 1300 Disconnect 2- 490 Disconnect 3- 1500 Disconnect 4- 2600 Disconnect 5- 3700 Disconnect 6- 3300 --------------------- Total Score: 12890 So i actually managed to even go beyond the 10000 mark xD Here are some pics: The first 1000 Frags Shortly before going AFK and beeing kicked for it later on The 1000 Frags before the third Disconnect Score at the third Disconnect The 1000 Frags before the fourth Disconnect The 2000 Frags before the fourth Disconnect Score shortly before someone decided to restart the Map because of "a new skin" The 3000 Frags before the fifth Disconnect Score at the fifth Disconnect (Sadly, I dont have any Screenshot of the very last 3000 Frags...just before the Server crashed...if anyone made this Pic then please contact me) /me feels speshul now Nah guys u know im just playin =) *takes a small piece of paper with notes out *cough Ok... I want to dedicate this totally outbreaking Frag Record to the Jedi Academy, which is the very best gaming Community ever. Ive seen many other Communitys before but the Jedi Academy beats them all by far. It is a great honor for me to be part of it. Of course i couldnt achieve this Goal alone.Many good Members sacrificed their Time and actually helped me out a bit.I want to deeply thank you all for this. Special Thanks go out to... ...Sloane, for beeing the very best NPC spawneee ive ever seen xD ...Lance (Vance Dance =P), for beeing the very nicest Person who ever decided to help me out ...X4natos, for beeing my friend from the first time ive decided to go onto the JA servers and for helping me out greatly ^^ ...Cornugon, for raising me up in a Ghetto called BWN (ill never forget ya this) ...JaikoD'Kana and AidenD'Kana, for beeing two of the most amazing guys ive ever met in my whole life ...Virtue, for creating this awesome Map and putting so much Time into the Academy ...Obi-Wan Kenobi, for beeing the very nicest and absolutely best JAK in the whole Academy Now i wanna drop some greets... The BSD-Linux-Compatibility layer messes with a lot of the internas of jk3. I myself have spawned like 200NPCs on a linux JAR server without problems, but it of course lagged and crashed some minutes later. also, the beloved "npc kill all" sometimes crashed it. oh, and please, do never ever spawn Ragnus  NPC spawning really is a nice feature of jk3, but it is a "feature" (not a bug  ) - so please treat it like that.We already have thought a LOT when we revised those rules, and we can revise it like a once every day, it wont be of any use if people do not THINK before they ACT. So, again, Im sure Masta didnt mean to do any harm. But this is meant for ALL of you. Well, it is stated that NPC and Droids are for training purpose, no other use. Spawning continuously for hours lead the server to eventually become instable and crash. JavaGuy, it sounds a bit like a 'way of reading' the rules. Sure the rules do not mention the amount of time you can spawn. But we've had issues with stability in the past due to NPC spawning and that's why those are limited. I would be more impressed if you got 100 frags against actual players. What does impress me tho is the amount of time you spent on the servers. And like they said, if you just want to see the number 10000 next to your name, make your own server (doesn't have to be just yourself, you could try hosting a server perhaps. This might even give you more insight on how much work others have to do for your enjoyment!) Actually, I have to admit that this would be great training As long as it is kept within bounds Don't think your going to be über-1337 if you can defeat 10 Staffers by re-spawning about a hundred times Anyone can do that But I have to admit that if you start off (if the server is empty, like I do) with just the single-saber-dude, and just one of him, then reloading health/shields and spawning two Then move on to one Dualler, and after him two duallers Then one staffer, and two staffers This ranges in difficulty, and I always like to do it... _______________ Visit the Belouve Family Website! This is not my idea of a good time, but I did think it was at least somewhat cool to see such outlandishly high scores on the server. And yeah, he stepped on a number of toes in the process of doing it, but if you look at his posts here and in the thread on afk-ness it's pretty clear he didn't mean too. I've always kind of wondered about the NPC-spawning issue--obviously if one spawns a whole bunch at once he crashes the server, but is it also true that incessantly spawning four or five at a time, even if it's never more than that concurrently, will also do it? If it's possible to obey the rules and still crash the server, we should look into this. If you really want to impress people, though, you could have used the same time to memorize the multiplication and addition tables up to 25. Alright, you had your fun now. No more. You were also responsible for crashing the Wireplay server due to the mass spawning of droids. This is a one-time occasion, and it won't happen again. Please don't make this some kind of contest. |

You know mate, what puzzles me greatly is the fact you could have done that in a solo MP game... You would have been able to achieve your goal without troubles, without being kicked, trapped, lamed or w/e.
