Ashyr, I know, or at least I think I do, what you feel like, for I have been in that situation too. After an absence of several weeks, I couldn't help thinking: Will they care? Will ANYBODY care AT ALL? I was about to leave when I decided to give it one last go. After fifteen minutes of playing and talking about it with a fellow stident I have never even seen before, I realised I was just plain wrong. The people here DOES care. You'd be truly surprised to find out how much. I am, however, conscious of the fact that by now your decision is made and I won't change that even with all the best speeches in the world (and I know mine are boring ). When I saw you on Ashyr, you're skills in staff we're very good, I'm surprised and saddened to see you go. It's nothing to do with ego - but I didn't make friends by hanging around silently. I played on the servers a lot, talked with a lot of people. If you want to leave, then leave. No need to feel 'worthless' just because of a web community man. |

I understand that there are allot of members here. The Leaders have to make decisions for people as a whole, and can't focus on every individual. However that's just not the kind of thing that works for me. Every time I bring up such things, I always get accused of being selfish, so I'm just leaving. I put in most of my life to this place, more than I should have, and when I see posts like Kenyon's, HW's, and Ploo's, it just makes me feel overwhelmingly worthless.
