Ok, let's gather up some of the titles of the best games ever out there. Everyone tell their favorites. Let's go PC only for now. I'd like to hear what the rest of you guys think. Duke Nukem 3D, one of the few truly legendary games of the genre Grim fandango, amazing... just amazing American McGee's Alice, my personal favorite Doom 1 or Ultimate Doom, sorry about that Deatscythe Deus ex 1 Dune 2, how did I forget it??? @ Scythus You dont have to extend to console games for that one. MGS and MGS2 are available for PC for 1 year by now. ...and of course its one of the very best games ever (even thought about putting it into my top 5...but naah =P) I <3 it =) Played MGS1 on extreme through (it gets unlocked once u play it on hard through). _______________ Find out more about the Jedi Academy Aurochs here and more about Masta here! If we are extending into console games, one of the best games I have EVER played was Metal Gear Solid. The storyline was simply incredible, and the gameplay was excellent too. You should really play Fallout 2, you can find it really cheap these days, I bought my copy for 10 €. It's a hundred times better than Tactics. And Tactics rocked too. _______________ 362 Ohi on! |

I heard so many...really many things about Fallout 2. Like > This is one of the best games ever!!!Really!!!! < and such things... Sadly i never found time to play this game =/ But im sure i wont get dissapointed...because i loved the "fighting-only-version-of-fallout2" > Fallout Tactics. This game looks very interesting. Plot sounds a bit different then X-Com and I'm sure it has nothing to do with the series, however some of the new features that this game has sound very interesting to me. I will definitely check it out in the future. Also, I played Fallout and thought that game was really cool. Fallout 2 was mentioned here so I might have to check that one out as well. Heh Koyi, This UFO:Aftermath has been just released recently (ok well....something like 1/2 year ago) and it doesnt have the title X-Com anymore.You could say that its a completly different Game but the developers based it on the X-Com principle and i think they even called it a sequel. Well, i havent played the other X-Com games but figuring out from what youve told us about those games, i think they have a lot in common. So in my opinion...if you are a great fan of the X-Com Series, then i would recommend to check this game out for sure. I just want to ask about this UFO Aftermath game you guys mentioned. I have never heard of this one. From what I knew it was a trilogy with X-Com UFO Defense or I think it was originally called Enemy Unknown, 2nd one being X-Com Terror From The Deep, and the last being X-Com Apocalypse. I bought all 3 games as they were released and later bought the collector's edition with all three in one set. I've never seen nor heard of Aftermath so now I am wondering if this is the first game with the actual UFO's and aliens from Mars or the underwater aliens with the subs. Oh i loved and hated tetris. Was playing it all the time when i was young on the GameBoy. Damn...there were so strange bonus scenes when ya have finished one difficulty...and i tried to see them all but NEVER MANAGED TO arrgh...and ive tried so often bah. I have to admit that X-Com is a great game also...ive only played the sequel > UFO: Aftermath < Its really well done...and consumes a heck of time...(nearly as much as very great and old classics like > Jagged Alliance 2 < ...its build up on the same principe tho) Oh and Jagged Alliance 2 is an awesome game ^^ i agree with Ufo Afthermath thing, a battle can take like 2 hours.... *game pause* ENEMY SPOTTED, game pause *ENEMY DEAD*, game pause *TAKING FIRE* _______________ Artificial intelligence beats natural stupidity. |

Most Lucasarts adventure games pwn3d, how about sierra games? Space Quest and Lesuire Suit Larry and Police Quest etc... my personal Favourtie game of all time would probably be Dizzy on Amstrad CPC 464 i agree with the guy who said Broken Sword, all 3 of them games are truly amazing, so rich in story and has everything a film has truly amazing _______________ If you add me to MSN, tell me who you are

well , the sven coop mod ,was jsut lvls that were made for all human players just to kill everything else. and that all lvls didnt half to do with SP. bt there was 1 lvl that was the starting of the game, so technially , if youchoose the portal lvl , you can start a new campaign. not sure , i never tried the lvl , just for a short bit and it was the SP lvls. and i just forgot the rest i was typing. crap. ill post what i was gunna say wher n i remember or get sumthing gewd |
