Sorry, I haven't been around much the past week or so, but I do have at least one good reason. Firstly, I've been going a bed a bit earlier than usual since I haven't felt too great. Second & third, my waking hours for the past few days, other than everyday stuff have been for watching Lord of the Rings: Return of the King Extended Edition and playing Lord of the Rings: the battle for Middle-Earth. On to some good news before some bad. 1. I got B & W (yay) bad news for anyone that wants to see me 1. I'm going to reinstall windows (I've been saying it for weeks, its about time I did) within the next few days. Its been 2 years since I got the machine so I guess the registry is shot to hell. Runs ok when it gets going but takes about 5 minutes to start. Now is a good a time as any since Norton won't have a huge amount to download and it'll be a clean install so I guess I'll also put SP2. 2. I got Christmas wrapping to do by Saturday. 3. Still got to have my Lord of the Rings Day (An 11 hour Lord of the Rings DVD marathon). 4. That's going to make me want to read my Lord of the Rings books again (maybe including the Silmarlion and Untold Tales, the hobbit). 5. I also got the game Vampire:the Masquerade - Bloodlines and I got to find time to play that. 6. I also got the Band Of Brothers DVD box set and I got to find time to watch that. 7. Got to find time to play around with B & W before jumping online. 8. err, gotta find time for Christmas, Boxing Day & New Year. That concludes this list (hints of my favourite past times in there, in no particular order and not definitive including computers/games, Lord of the Rings, History (in particular military history) So, I'm around just a little occupied. Motrec, Sit down and grab a box of tissues, this is one of those sobby stories. Well man, when I first joined the JA and saw your name, I always thought you were just one of those punk teenagers that liked to kick people from the servers. You can imagine my surprise the first time I heard your voice on TS. I nearly shat myself in amazement that someone older than 20 actually played these games. Well, you and n00b both insulted me out of my shyness, to the point that I actually started talking to you guys. Ever since then I feel that we've grown to be like brothers. Everything you've done for me has meant so much, and it's made my time being here well worth it. Even if you feel like you're time spent was a waste, I want you to know it wasn't. I've grown in so many ways because of you, and I wouldn't be where I am today without your guidance. I'd probably be dead, lying face down in a drained pool somewhere (Old School quote ). And well, I just wanted to show my appreciation by giving you, the MoMo of all Motrecs, my 2000th comment. I love ya bro, and I look forward to all the fun we're gonna have in the future.
