Hope this is OK!? --------------- OLD Okay, taking a screenshot for portrait is mainly a question of patience and trials and errors. NEW Okay, taking a screenshot for a portrait is mainly a question of patience and trial and error. --------------- OLD First bind a key to the screenshot command ( /bind screenshot) and one to the screenshot silent command (/bind screenshot silent). NEW First bind a key to the screenshot command (/bind <key> screenshot) and one to the screenshot silent command (/bind <key> screenshot silent). --------------- OLD Before you start hitting your screenshot bound key, you have to prepare your tools, ie to bind keys to critical commands. I used several bound keys to several commands to have an ergonomic screenshooting configuration. I use several keys bound to several commands ot have an ergonomic screen-shooting configuration. --------------- OLD I also suggest you bind the command timescale 1 in order to get back to normal speed whenever you'll need to. NEW I also suggest you bind the command timescale 1 to a key, in order to get back to normal (100%) speed, whenever you need to. --------------- OLD cg_thirpersonrange [number] is the command that sets the camera distance to the character. A value of 0 is possible but will not put you in first person mode. Default value is around 100 I believe. For days I've been thinking of how to let this all out. Something has been bothering my mind. Probably the journey through the crystal forest and the meeting with Mr. Banana, a most conspicious person with a despicable disposition. But I endured. And most of all, it made me think of what we really need in this world. I cast my mind back to 1967 and Paul McCartney singing "All you need is love", but it doesn't help. Love is too self-obvious, we need something else. We need... we need... hmm... we need PIDGEONS. I have always tried to entertain myself with the idea of having pidgeons all around me, in my dreams, while I am awake, at the breakfast table eating with me, at the toilet while I'm executing my necessities, etc. Pidgeons rock. And then it got me thinking. Pidgeons.. hmm... pidgeons... MUNE! Yes, definately. You are the no.1. pidgeon in the whole world! You rock the oviary world my man! Now the meaning of this post was to say what a great guy you are, and for so quickly saying HI to me when I joined the academy (never mind making Fizzeh mah big brothah). Yo Mune! I had some progress on that lucid dreaming stuff. I was in the middle of a dream and things were getting weird so I stopped myself and said aloud to the person next to me: "This is a dream, isn't it?" He immediately stopped and stared at me with a look on his face that seemed to say "Oh my god, he figured it out, this isn't good." But right after that I woke up for about a second with a feeling of anger for losing my lucidity, but then I started dreaming again, so I think it might have been a false awakening. After that I lost the thought that I was in a dream so it didn't turn out that well in the end but it seems I'm making progress. |
