Hello Setementor. Thanks for filling my dictionary. I also don't have those words: The idea of gene therapy is that a non-pathogenic virus or other delivery system can be used to insert a piece of DNA--a good copy of the gene--into cells of the living individual. The modified cells would divide as normal and each division would produce cells that express the desired trait. The result would be that he/she would then have the ability to express the trait that was previously absent at least partially. This form of genetic engineering could help alleviate many problems, such as diabetes, cystic fibrosis, or other genetic diseases. That should take you a moment, thanks again. |

Heya Sete I was just wondering, i have been quite inactive for sometime but that was mainly my college work being rather tight on me but seeing as its all almost done and stuff......i remember (at least i think it was you) who set up the whole New Student Introductory programe thing and well i remember i signed up for it but as iv been quite lazy and not had much time, i really did't have time to take part and help out....but seeing as i said its all setteling down i was hoping that maybe i could help out now, i would really like to well give back something to the academy and help new people getting around and how the ways of the academy works etc.......
