Under no circumstances should any member of The Jedi Academy discuss Star Wars: The Old Republic in the presence of Masta.
One dark night, Masta was raped by Star Wars: The Old Republic. But it didn't stop there. SW:TOR proceeded to rape Masta's mother, and the family dog. Upon finishing this heinous act, SW:TOR drank some milk from Masta's fridge and left the carton on the counter. These atrocities left wounds in Masta's psyche that will never truly be healed. Please treat this issue with sensitivity and respect. Thank you. |

Greetings Masta! I played GW2 during the free trial weekend promotion. I can see why you find it unique compared to MMOs. The world and stories don't draw me in as much as Star Wars or Lord of the Rings, but the dynamic feeling of questing is refreshing. I also like that there are a wide variety of weapons, with unique skills, that you can use too! My Charr warrior, who I thought was only melee, can grab a bow and still be decent at it. I did venture into WvWvW PvP as a lower level. I know there's level scaling like in SWTOR, but I did feel particularly weak due to my inexperience. The one thing about the game is that it seems rather overwhelming to start playing and grasp it within the first few hours. It certainly takes time to master and learn how all of the systems work.
Overall, GW2 has certainly earned a purchase from me. I just don't know when I'll get time to play it currently, so I may push off purchasing for a bit. _______________ "Do or do not, there is no try" Jedi Master Yoda Dual Saberist |

Without any kind of intelligence your empathy will never develop, however you still survive.
Why empathy is closely tied to morality? I don't know if empathy is good or bad. After all empathy is very subjective. For example: If you think that you are emphatic person, but you aren't. You still try to interpret another human being and you were totally wrong with your interpretation. This can also lead to something destructive. ________________________________________________ Argh well then another subject, by all mean lets continue our empathy debate still. However Utility. I didn't find any kind of argument to "Human doesn't do anything if he/she doesn't gain anything from it? It can be either feeling based or material utility" I tried to give examples from drug addictives and autistic people. Then they reached to conclusion that only rational people are following the utility concept. Yes, I'm debating it with everyone and well your question is very large! I try to open it up with quick definitions and random examples
Intelligence - Simply Logic and ability to learn new stuff quickly Wit - Quicker form of logic and problem solving Wisdom - Something what you can achieve just by experience. Empathy - Ability to set oneself to another living being's position. (and you need to use emotional intelligence to regonize the feeling so you can at least sympathize the feeling, but when you can really understand the other human being, you can empathize the other human. You can make him/her laugh, dance, have fun and enjoy the life for while! )
I have found out of some human beings that even-thought they are very intelligent and wise and they have studied their selves to very high. Still without empathy they are nothing. Imagine an economist? Who just follows how the money rides from place to place without even considering that behind those numbers, there are humans. People get fired if the factory doesn't make profit and without hesitation. Nobody really cares how those human beings stress increases due to they doesn't know how to keep their family on food? Erm very stereotypical example and It doesn't go always as I'm trying to point out on my example. However those who have studied their selves very high; they are usually most empathetic persons ever
But I have also met very cynical and sarcastic ones too. It is safe to say that every human being was born with some kind of empathy ability. Somebodies are just better on it than others. Without any kind of empathy; intelligence, wit and wisdom can also lead to something destructive either to oneself or others. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::. Yes! I remembered my argument!
