Under no circumstances should any member of The Jedi Academy discuss Star Wars: The Old Republic in the presence of Masta.
One dark night, Masta was raped by Star Wars: The Old Republic. But it didn't stop there. SW:TOR proceeded to rape Masta's mother, and the family dog. Upon finishing this heinous act, SW:TOR drank some milk from Masta's fridge and left the carton on the counter. These atrocities left wounds in Masta's psyche that will never truly be healed. Tnx m8. Ive read the rules, but it never concurred to me (doh) that I could just host my own server (dunno what that will do with the pings tho). Tnx for those IP adresses, bet those will come in handy. |

yo Mr. Ping. U've had your share of ESL-experience. Im thinking of playing some matches, see how I do. I was wondering, if u dont have a server u can use for your match (like a clanserver), and your opponent hasnt got one either, how do u solve this? What about if your opponent uses a server where u get a really high ping, do u have to play both rounds on his server (with lack of an own server u can use)? hasnt the ESL got servers u can use for matches or something? too bad. I bet you got your reasons, but u were doing pretty good m8. Now that wireplay is back up, and we got a decent mod, hop onto the server some time m8, fighting (read: gettin pwn3d by) you seems good practice to me. See ya. |

Good point. Ive heard some Wovian dudes complain about certain Euro clans just avoiding to get killed when they play high ping. And u seemed to hit the nail on the head with Hell Raiser, the guy sure seemed cocky. Ive met Intrepid on a random BWN server (SoW i believe it was) a few weeks ago, but ive never seen sh0 in a pub, would be cool to see a guy like that duel. Tnx for the info  |

A bloody shame m8. When i check the JAA line-ups, i see some really good players, u could make quite a nice team. There would still be the ping-issue tho, maybe thats why a lot of clans usually stick to 1 country (or nearby countries, like Holland and Germany for example) for recruiting. All this clan-stuff is interesting, tnx for replying. Yesterday i was playing a bit on low ping public servers, and i stumbled into a 2vs2 match including (the rising star as he seems to be) Hell Raiser from O3. I decided to stay and watch a bit, and after the match (which was won by Hell Raiser, pretty much on his own) a little flame war started. The guys on the red team (Hell raiser was on the blue team) were obviously pissed with losing. (didnt seem that weird to me, Hell seems to be second to Dureal now) The red guys were obviously Wovian fans (altho they had euro pings). They kept going on about sh0 (he's the WoV leader right), and how he is unbeatable with yellow. Hell Raiser disagreed. Just out of curiousity m8, how good is this sh0 guy? (ive seen Intrepid in action a few times, and he is definately skilled) Do u think Euro players like Dureal and Hell Raiser could take on sh0(presumably the best American player)? Just wondering m8, sorry for bugging u with all this crap. <3 |

Couldnt agree more. Since ive seen some of the match results of the JAA vs well known poker clans (like vs DoX and Prophets), i know that u do well in those TFFA's. So it clearly shows that non-pokers can beat pokers. Or is it just that those clans cant really compete with the more infamous clans? (like wovian, 03 or aXiom) I've always wondered how u guys would do against a clan like that, I personally think u have a decent chance. What do u think? |

Exactly what I was wondering about. I know u dont poke, and I know u are a good duelist, so I was wondering how u do in the harsh world of l33t poking out there. Last night I was watching a demo of Dureal and Cube fighting in the ESL. Altho I know its much harder than it looks, Dureal pretty much spams the red side swing aerial combined with a good poke. Very effective tho, and it must be a pain to fight guys like him without poking. Did u never got frustrated with that? I bet u have what it takes to be a top dog, but the lack of poking kinda kept u out of the top? Just wondering. |
