got sick of waiting for jk3files.com, so i put the map up on my geocities account and left a link in the WR forum. technically your not supposed to use it as a file server, put until they wise up it'll have to do. here the link BTW http://www.geocities.com/ozzcoz/WRdaytona.zip _______________ A wizard did it. |

Heres what ive done so far: -finished the map -made the readme and put it all in a zip file -submitted the file WRdaytona.zip to jk3files.com -given you a copy so now i'm just waiting to see if jk3files.com accepts it, then (hopefully  ) it will be available for download off the web. until then you're free to give it to anyone you like, its a freely distributed file. just as long as your not getting constantly annoyed to dcc/msn the file to ppl. i'll post again if and when it's put on jk3file.com so you have a link here and in the forum post _______________ A wizard did it. |

Thanks to ozzcoz, I fixed some possible errors in the map. I now have to light it up a bit and check for entities which overlap. There is lots of z-fighting which need to be fixed. It shouldn't take too long. This comment was edited by Setementor on Aug 19 2004 01:45am. |

Sorry, i feel asleep on my keyboard and didn't see you PM on IRC until you'd left :/ It's absolutely fine by me that you just use that track for practice. It really is only good enough to show what can be done in jk3 maps as opposed to a full scale race. I would just like to fix a couple of minor errors that are in it, and perhaps give it a new name (WRdaytona sounds dorky, and isn't what the map turned out to be). Is it ok if i send you the final release in like 24 hours (or less) i'll use e'mail if i can. Ok cya later mate _______________ A wizard did it. |

Yeah, like I said, theres some major bugs in it: - The sky box doesn't load - The snow is a little bugged (Leaked) - Some of the mountains are dark and lights don't light it up - Wampas only spawn once I'll fix these as soon as possible, but I'll still send you the map. When you sent me a private message on IRC yesterday, I was sleeping. When I'm sleeping, my nick name will have a lowercase s. I also set an away message, so if you PM me, it should tell you if I'm away or not. About the map; I've made it, I've just got to fix some major bugs in it. |
