Some guy in his thirties entered with quite a small kid. You could tell he was really excited. The kid got scared, though. There should be a notice ahead of the movie that says 'This movie is PG13. Can you read? You are a Parent. Do you understand what Guidance is? Or are you just another stupid toddler who thinks they're an adult simply because they've grown older and, unfortunately, have developed fully-functioning sexual organs? yeah i agree there were some really really nice moments, even in the acting! BUT, what makes it stumble for me is the inconsistency. anything that draws attention to itself by not being congruent with that which surrounds it (acting, cg character, etc.) pulls me out of the "losing myself in the movie for what it is mode." so imo, it's better when everything is just really good, rather than going with most is freakin amazing and then a few things are pretty mediocre. _______________ this is the internet, be serious damn it! |

Actually, while I agree the acting wasn't top notch or anything, there were a few performances that stood out for me. Ewan McGregor eerily resembled Alec Guinness in a few scenes, Ian McDiarmid was great when he was being manipulative and even though I still cringe occasionally, a few of Hayden Christensen's final scenes (this is a spoiler free thread but I'm sure the people who've seen it know what I'm talking about) really hit me in the face. I really disliked him in Episode 2, but he improved a lot and even had some great moments in this one. |

Just got out of the flik and it, in one word, ROXORZ. Good job George, ya brought it all together. Was kinda disappointed in General Greivous though. I've just come back from seeing ROTS and in my opinion it is the best yet. There is just to much to talk about, it's all still swimming around in my head at the moment so there is no chance of me sleeping just yet. But I will say this Obi-Wan is awsome, Ive always known this but this movie just confirms it.
