We have had a lot of post with tournements mentioned lets have official ones  Single - NF and FF seperate 2v2 - not seen this before but would be good. Especially if pairs were pulled out of the hat to make it more even Split into Euro and US zones (ithers can chose)as when we didn't we had loads of no shows. Also if we have this every 3 Months pple have something to look forwrad to. No Shows, who do not contact opponent miss the next tourney. We've had lots of tourneys in the past, and we will have tourneys in the future.. If someone wants to host a tourney it's just great! But you REALLY need to know what you're doing.. You need people and time to organize it, or it will result in chaos.. Since the JA.net is focused on the training and not competition, can't anybody just throw a tourney? I mean we are all friends here, for the most part, why not just set it up and invite some people to play in it. You would prolly need the Council to sign off on it if you intend to call it an Official academy event, but why call if that if its about the fun? I have some PHP code that turns PHP-Nuke portal into a ladder/tourney board. It isn't very automated but it works. If someone has the skill to put up PHP based portals I will gladly mail it to you.
