We can bring back activity eeeaaaasssssy, i know the exact problem why nobody is ever on the server and its quite simple.
Communication, it's totally lacking between the eager TJA members that want activity, if you are interested in playing JK3 on the TJA servers download xfire at www.xfire.com/downloads and add me, my username is ''darthapoc'' i've been waiting for bout 2 weeks to see people on the server and so far i've only seen 1 person, and that was Dash. So if you guys/gals are truely interested in playing JKA again with the TJA members, get xfire add me, I'm always on xfire, we'll chat it up get in game and just have fun with the game. If you guys really want to play JKA but dont want to get xfire, then there are always alternatives to communication just list'em below! We need a network of social accessibility between us though. otherwise every few months you guys are going to see another post under this forum stating, heeey guys lets get on server and play from some unfortunate eager player who wont see activity from TJA. Apoc, I agree communication may be an issue sometimes. Mic took some initiative and has created this thread a while back. It's simply about letting other people know you're interested in playing at a certain time/location so they can join in if they feel like it. I've had my own baseJKA/plus clan since I joined TJA online, DE is a fine work, I was just looking for the surviving (still eager) JKA players of TJA though, I know there's some out there, but you masta have betrayed JKA!!
The game is still alive on some servers, I play on them daily, but I'm not here to chat about that, I'm here for the recognition of those TJA members looking to play Jka still, I know Dash Starlight is one, and Xanatos still plays Jka a lot _______________ New -[DE]- Site. |

I'll pass. There are FFA servers out there that have people playing on them, so feel free to give them a go; check out duel servers if you're looking for a challenge. If you want to get more srs, sign up with either a ja+ clan or the ESL. lol no no no, this whole post is to get us in jk3, I'm not going to venture into other games, Jk3 is so unique and its community soo vast i dont believe you can categorize it into 2 parts like ja+ newbs and base competition, those are just common interests, the personalities of each individual are much more unique and I think if the majority of the former active members came back this could be a new golden age of TJA
However if you think I'm dreaming if I think TJA could have another golden age, its because you guys are unwilling to play this game anymore, it could happen if everybody set aside the differences and enjoyed Jka for what it is _______________ New -[DE]- Site. |

The exact problem is that the community for years has been torn between ja+ FFA players who RP jedis on the one hand and on the other hand cutthroat competitive ESL players who are extremely proficient at moving their mice back and forth quickly - a good skill toi have. The former has it good, being completely oblivious of skill and just using JKA as a virtual chatroom with lightstick wielding avatars. The latter has drawn an asscard because competitive JKA is a joke and an almost complete waste of time (excluding CTF). The middle section between those groups, i.e. basically us and... (...) , does not exist anymore.
So, if you find yourself more atuned to the former option, get SWTOR or GW2; if to the latter, get SC2. Get SC2 anyways though, because that's the future of this place. _______________ Find out more about the Jedi Academy Aurochs here and more about Masta here! Married to Kain. |
