Did you ever think if we would still be around in like 10 or 20 years in some video game that comes in the future??? It would be awesome if we could still be together in that many years, whether it be with JK2 related games or like BF1942, I think we should try and stick together as long as we can. Grr i need to cheak these forums more often. Well anyway VR you know force push and jump they may be possible i wrote a forum months ago about how this russian scientest said he had discovered anti gravity(then he dissapeared).The article said that hoverboards would be possible, websites i just cheacked mention perpolsion and levitation.Supossidly the american gov tried, one army guy even claimed at the time they would be able to do it in a few decades (some claim the succeeeded but didnt want to risk world stability) ,the germans suposidly tried.The only problem unforseeabley solveable was that it took a whole pile of power. Anyway what this all means that some day we may be able to controll gravity,you could litrilly push a guy to the floor,throw him across the room -even leap high into the air.Though we may be long dead by that time its possible(well some phisisists agree and others dont) _______________ The real question is not whether machines think but whether men do. I think they'd more be telling us to turn the sound down because of Silk and his Landos. And I think we'll stay together for a few more years, and if more Jedi Knight games come out, maybe longer! And I will NEVER leave this place. I have too many friends here, and I would miss them greatly. And if RL™ threatens to take over, I'll fight it!! |

You all seem to be forgetting that it ain't gonna be VR Jedi Outcast. LoL. If they do a Star Wars Jedi type of VR game you will probably just get the saber, the rest of the stuff - IE, moves, locks etc etc will all be up to you. _______________ Academy Architect |

well, yeah, personal strength is one thing nut what about force push? jump out of the lock or sumthin and push'em back! wow, it would be SO cool if all this was real......ah well, best get back to the servers then anyway, it would be cool to have to dodge blasts physically. take that gunners! and for Sith to just point their hand and see lightning come out....wow! of course, I am a jedi, so I care not for such things I would make my own map full of little objects everywhere, that I could push/pull everywhere just because it would be fun to physically move your hand and watch it move _______________ JK2 pwnz0rs JK3. |

Lol Jace, you better start working out! Ya, it would be pretty unfair, the older members would win more saber locks than the younger ones. But very few people ground attack, so it doesn't matter unless you have 20 hp and will die if you lose the lock. |

One prob with what Virtue said. How would they solve the problem of dueling. You have to stop moving when you saber clashes with something. How are they gonna do that???? Sure, guns etc are possible, but I don't think that you can saber in VR, unless ppl do really freaky things with your nerve system. _______________ Personal sleepness-nights-supporter of Virtue.
