LOL - I honestly don't think that many of us JAS/JAPs can comment on the inner workings of the system, but I can see the results (resluts, Mauly ).None of the JAT/JAKs I know have undeserved recognition. NONE. Ok? Note the lack of smily in the above paragraph as an indicator of my seriousness This attitude may change now that Kueller and Jacen are JAKs (j/k ), but ATM, I believe that.MoS is simply being realistic. It doesn't make the girls (women/chicks/babes/bimbos/lasses, for the uninitiated  ) any less worthy, and that ain't what he or anyone else is saying.THE QUICK VERSION - Chicks pwn. haha, it's not the time, it's the effort you take to make this polace "better", this word is used freely so i'll explain. a knight... helps other people is recommended by a JAT or JAK i think isn't a PITA Follows the rules And DO NOT ASK TO BE A KNIGHT!!! _______________ When you are told something for years, you learn to accept it. I do not think ppl get their rank out of luck, or thanks to the ppl they know. I have been in the Academy for 4 weeks or so now, and after 12 days I found a master (Smily rules!!), and not because I want to become a knight at all costs but just because I prefer to have a link with my teacher, it helps me to progress. I will or will not eventually become a knight but that's not my goal to get a tag on the server and be sucked up. Being a knight is one step closer to the JAT status, which represents my final goal (if I make it so far): what I learnt thanks to the patience and skills of my current teachers, I would like to teach it as well to the JA fellows who are willing to learn. And as a final word, girls may get more attention but it doesn't mean they have easy ways to the the knighthood. Girls DO get more attention. Can anyone really argue that? Also, since promotions are by recommendation, being friends with the people doing the promoting doesn't hurt, does it? "hmmmm I got JAT status in 3 months..." Were there as many people in the Academy then? Wouldn't you agree that it was easier to attain a rank? "And Smily did get her promotion on what she posseses, not because she's a girl." Because she is a girl, what she posseses got noticed more than they would have if she was a guy. I NEVER said she only got her promotion based on gender, NOR did I say she doesn't deserve it. Listen, I just assumed everyone felt the same way I did. Darthy, you slut! I think the girls will ALWAYS get more attention for that.. it's unavoidable. However, I don't think Smily is a JAK because she is a girl. She geniunely does have alot of skill in JK2 (and JK3 for that matter). But think of it this way... if the girls are more popular, they'll be easier to talk to, and approach with any problems... |

Jacen, it's true. If you're well known and spend a lot of time on the servers, your good deeds will get more recognition. Girls get a lot of attention, and tend to be approached by others. They are noticed more. LOL well there are multiple sides to everything. First, I made knight and I really didn't know anyone in the upper ranks. I still really wonder how I got a nom from Secura. Then there is sometimes the idea that just because someone is the way they are, they have an advantage. This process is biase but what isn't?
