Over the past few months it has become apparent to the Jedi Academy's senior staff that the apparently tragic events that lead to countless tributes being made to Vladarion and his memory have turned out to be untrue.
With this in mind, the JA has opted to remove Vladarion from the Hall of Fame. Action in regards to the "the_academy_v3" map memorial will be taken at a later date. On behalf of all of the JA's administrative staff involved, I would like to apologise to all of those affected by the initial events which took place in 2003 and lead to the various tributes made. The JA believed all correspondence in regards to Vladarion's apparent death to be genuine and sincere. We have created a thread containing the aforementioned which can be used for discussion in regards to this matter. Keep ALL discussion of this matter on the thread in the aforementioned link. Any new threads on any section of the forums regarding this will be closed. Any posts made on this profile or anywhere else found to be in violation of the JA rules will be deleted and the poster will face official warning or closure of their site account. Flaming, disrespect, trolling or any other rule infractions will not be tolerated and dealt with accordingly. This is a delicate subject. Treat it with respect. Thank you. I have no words. I see things like this all the time at work, and this is the first time this season that I have been saddened by it. I only met Vladarion a few times and he seemed like a great guy. I held Vlad. in high respect, he was always there for ppl, always actively helping. This is a great lose that has befallen both our society and our academy. It has been my greatest of privileges to know Vlad during the time I have been with the academy. He has always been a friend to me. He was one of those people that you just like to be around. His actions were that of a man with a kind heart and a considerate soul. In times like these I pull from my faith to help me, you may not share my beliefs but I feel that there is a heaven and Vlad is surely there now. He has touched all of our lives and he will be forever remembered. I show no anger to the man who killed him; I will not disgrace his memory that way. That man has his own peace to make. You were a player I always looked forward to bumping into, my heart is saddened by our loose and I hope that we shall once again be able to cross sabers again some day. I know you will be watching over us from wherever you are. I now beseech to my fellow members of the academy to keep Vlad in their memory, for if we do that he will always be with us. I now rip from the tip of my grandfather’s black belt a strip to tie around my arm, for that is the way of our family, to morn the loose of my friend and pay my respects to him. This world has many innocent people and not so innocent. Those that are innocent are sometimes dragged into things that they can't stop because of someone doing the wrong thing. I've come to the conclusion that you were probably the nicest, most humble, and I'm going to go so far as to say best person ive met at the JA. Why you? It's always the best people. The people who make other people smile and laugh. I can't stand it, man. I just...I dont know what to say. It's not fair. I'm sorry for that last email I sent you...I'm gunna keep you on the team. At least I know why you haven't been coming to practice lately. I hope wherever you are right now has internet access so you can read all these posts. The news of this tragic event has brought tears to my eyes. I am at a loss for words right now. Vlad was a model student here, always kind, helpful, saying positive things, lightening the mood. He was a joy to be around, and was a friend to everyone here. I had gotten to know him pretty well and we had become good friends. My best wishes go out to all of his friends and family.
