I had done the same thing with the gun because darkening made it lose all its details. So I created a feathered selection around the gun to exclude darkening while not making it stick out. _______________ "Deos fortioribus adesse." |

Darkening is my way of lowering the size of a graphics file (large sections of black tend to save well on web preferences). I can't say I'm a fan of the 30kb limit on this site.
Nevertheless, I could work with that second picture. Most of the Rick Astley pictures are low quality and don't hold up to faded blurs, blending and cropping well. I admit, I'm not good with cutting hair off pictures. If you want that hair to be 100% original the I can just do picture editing instead of cutting him out and working with that. _______________ "Deos fortioribus adesse." Surprisingly, it's difficult to make an avatar based on Mr.Astley. There aren't many high quality images of him to work with.
