NOTE: This is the fourth book of the Jedi Academy Novel series, however, not much knowledge of the other three stories is required. But for those who are dying to know... Third Book Second Book First Book ** I've made this thingammajigga because the old writers weren't helping me out with the novels. Plus, it'll be easier to read. So, here you go. NO STEALING, YOU PIRATES!! Update, October 14, 2004: I changed it around so only one story will be on here. It'll be less confusing and more visually pleasing.** The End of Time STAR WARS The Jedi Academy The End of Time Two years have passed since the Empress's rule has been overthrown. The Jedi Academy is now in a period of definite peace. They have relocated to their old planet, Yavin IV. All Lianiotte's clones have been put to rest, and so have Flamori's Force clones. Lianiotte has regained power from her original state, and returned to her original self. Although it may not be war, there are still arguments from parsec to parsec, and it is the Jedi's duty to always look into the matters... Chapter One The Mercenary and the Lady Flash and Optime dressed up as common alienfolk as they entered a hot-shot bar on Coruscant, or the top-rated at least. The bar echoed with laughter and loud arguments, the clinking noise of glasses smacking together, and occasionally, glass breaking. The walls were trimmed with tubes colored neon blue, green, and pink. Bubbles roamed within them. Flash concealed his lightsaber, as he approached the bar with Optime. "Seperate," he spoke quietly. "Pretend we are apart. A few may have seen us together, but it matters most if the majority hasn't." Optime nodded, and wandered off, checking for any suspiscious activity. Flash's eyes shifted, as he sat down on a chair, arm resting on the smooth, metallic metal of the bar before the lady human bartender. Flash pulled out a note from under his sleeve, and passed it onto the lady. He looked around at the locals, eyes shifting rarely to the lady. After she placed the note down, her eyes looked into his, with an unbreakable gaze. They stood, staring, for a few moments, before they telepathically spoke. "I haven't seen anything weird yet, Flash," said the lady. "Very well. I will turn to the other 'tend." "Do as you wish. My part's over... I am now to dress up as a Twi'lek." "You aren't a changeling, Lianiotte." "But I will do as the academy has instructed." Flash stood up and watched the undercover Lianiotte heade off and go to the EMPLOYEES ONLY section. Flash took another note from under his sleeve and threw it behind his back. Optime caught it, read it, and placed it in one of his pockets. He headed to the rodian bartender, opposite of where Lianiotte was. He sat down, and raised his hand in a mind tricking gesture. "You will tell me of what you know about the galaxy's conflict." The rodian spoke in its own language a few times. He then said, "Your pathetic Jedi mind trickies work on me not at all! You crazy Jedi want to be!" Optime grabbed the rodian by the collar and raised him up. "You WILL tell me NOW!" he intimidated. "All right, all right!" screamed the rodian. "The Dark Jedi are locking down planets, making sure nobody gets in or out!" Optime let the rodian go, then he turned around. "Just like the Sith did, very long ago..." Optime was about to meet with Flash and leave, before the bartender pressed the Security button. As they exited the bar, they could hear the loud footsteps of the soldiers rushing to the bar. Optime and Flash stood still, opposite of the bar's entrance, waiting for the soldiers. The soldiers were now at the entrance. Their armor was a smooth white, resembling that of a pearl. All but one wore a helmet. The guards stopped at the entrance, and the leader, the one without the helmet, looked towards the two casual Jedi. Although there was a thick crowd rushing between the two, Flash and Optime could still sense the leader's eyes continuing to rest on them. The Jedi blinked, and they could see the three soldiers no more. Flash and Optime turned to continue onto the streets of Coruscant, when Optime stated, "well, that takes care of th—" His sentence was cut short by the cold, sharpened steel on the front of their necks. "This is the end of your part," said the soldier leader. He signaled to the other two guards, and then they tied the Jedis' hands behind their backs. The guards placed their E-11s at the backs of the Jedis. Their leader nodded, as they walked off in a particular route. "There's something about him that's... very familiar," Flash said very quietly. "That's true," Optime replied. After five minutes or so, they reached their destination, a tall building. The leader opened the double-doors, and they entered a visually pleasing room. The room was white, like the clone labs in Kamino, and there was a square desk with a receptionist. There were pot-plants here and there, and even couches as if the room were meant to be a waiting room. They approached a backroom, and then the two Jedis were set on chairs, with their hands behind the chair backs. It was like an interrogation room. The building to look no longer pleasing, it was like a house in the slums. There was a desk between the leader and the Jedis. And that's when it hit Flash. "Josh?" he asked. The leader nodded. "Why are you in military service? And... why are you capturing us?" Josh chuckled. "Well, after the two war things, things have been getting dreadfully dull. All these things happen, there has been no 'new rule,' and you need something to add the spice of life." "You sound nothing like you did before," Optime said. "Have you forgotten the meaning of our training?" asked Flash. "No," sighed Josh. "I haven't. But I've been doing things correctly. You see, the guards were signaled for disturbance. As far as I can tell, you are the disturbance. You interrupted a bar, and your ever-so-bright Optime here practically threatened a bartender." "...Nice going," said Flash annoyedly. On Yavin IV, the Jedi were gathering for a knighting ceremony. Not long after the ceremony started, pure white X-Wings flew overhead, followed by black ones, landing in the academy's hangar. The Jedi came to see what the commotion was all about. A leading white ship's top flew off, and a man dressed in pearl-white robes levitated up to his feet. He levitated down from the X-Wing, where the Jedi could get a better view of him. His hair was white, although it didn't turn that way from old age, making that obvious by showing no sign of wrinkles on his skin. A blue half-circle, like a crescent moon, was tattooed by the right of his eye, and showing two lines going back to his ear, starting from the center of the crescent. He slowly walked up to the academy Jedi, while the other pilots got out of their X-Wings. The Jedi felt a sense of uncomfort as the leader walked towards them. Arising from the ground was another man, his entire body hidden in a black robe. "His name is Driss," blankly spoke the new figure. "I speak for him in cases which he does not wish to speak. Do not touch him." And with that, the black-robed man sank under the ground. The White Academy and Black Academy Jedi soon after made a formation behind Driss. "We Jedi of the Black and White Academy bring you information about four misfits you sent on a mission to Coruscant," spoke Driss. "I'm tired of this," complained Optime. He jumped out of his seat, as the soldiers didn't tie neither Optime nor Flash to the chairs. Optime turned his tied arms and reached for his saber. He activated it, and burned off the ropes that bound his hands together, and cut off Flash's. "I've never been so proud of you yet," Flash joked. The two Jedi pointed their sabers at Josh threateningly, however, Josh did not flinch. "You are the ones who have forgotten their training. Please don't tell me our training was completely about not turning to the dark side. There were also teachings about how to use a lightsaber as well." Josh flipped back and shattered the wall behind him with his bare fist, and reached for a metal staff. The top was shaped like a "U" and inside the "U" was energy, resembling that of a lightsaber's blade. The two soldiers pointed their swords at the two Jedi. "Impressive... most impressive," said Optime. "I made this baby on my own," said Josh. They broke into a battle. Optime jumped onto the hanging light on the ceiling, then held himself on the wall behind Soldier I, then swung his saber at him. Soldier I quickly turned and reflected the swing with his lightsaber-resistant blade. Flash twirled his emerald blade at Soldier II, and Soldier II blocked the strikes, then took a few slashes of his own, tearing up a few bound threads to Flash's robe. Josh shook his head, and pointed the staff's energy towards the ceiling. Out burst red energy, causing the ceiling to fall. Josh jumped high and into the next story up, followed by the sound of glass breaking, which the two Jedi assumed was Josh breaking out of there. Large boulders of debris tumbled on the two soldiers, knocking them out of the room, making holes, which Flash and Optime could use for escape. They took advantage of this, and walked back out onto the streets of Coruscant. Flash deactivated his saber, but Optime used the Force to push the boulder on top of Soldier I. "Die!" he shouted as he swung the blade onto the soldier three times. It would have been more, had Flash not stopped him. "Hey," Flash said, "we should hide these bodies." Optime pulled up the two soldiers, and tossed them off a ledge. "Err, well, that's not exactly what I had in mind..." The two Jedi waved their hands in a certain gesture, and could be seen no more. The lady quickly jammed all her clothes inside of a bag, and strung it onto her belt. Lianiotte also had an E-11 ready at her side. She was heading to the bar's exit, when a rodian jumped in front of the door. "You pay one-thousand credits to use this door!" BLAST. The rodian was shot in the arm, causing him to collapse, but not enough to kill him. Everybody else flinched. She was at the outside of the bar's entrance, and she heard a lock sounding. "Lockdown?" She looked to her right, unaware of the speeder charging up to her at its maximum speed. Lianiotte grabbed the speeder's front before it could impale her, and flipped over and landed on the seat, behind the rider. Her purple lightsaber flashed into life, and they were now flying over a speeder zone, which seemed to have no bottom. Her blade was held at the human's neck, extremely close. "Going a little fast, aren't you? Wouldn't want to get yourself hurt, would you?" The pilot gasped, as Lianiotte grabbed the seat and flipped backwards, off of the speeder, before the pilot screamed as he crashed into the wall. Her robe was flapping as she was falling, her lightsaber still on. She landed on a red speeder with purple stripes, which had no rider. She pulled it up, and was heading towards a platform in the air... She jumped off the speeder, letting it ride onwards. She landed, and had her lightsaber on her belt. She quickly readied her E-11 Blaster Rifle, pointing it at a man rushing towards an X-Wing. The man stopped in his tracks, and pulled out his own E-11. His face turned towards Lianiotte, who Lianiotte recognized as Josh. Lianiotte was just about to say something, but then she recognized the dark side within him. "Going somewhere?" Josh pointed his E-11 Blaster Rifle at Lianiotte, and pulled the trigger. The ruby energy sprang out of the gun, charging towards Lianiotte. Lianiotte raised her eyebrow, and grabbed the energy as if it were a solid object. She ran up to Josh, who was about to run back up to his ship, when Lianiotte sprang up and threw the power cell at Josh's cheek, which burned in a second, and puffs of smoke came out of the cheek-wound. Josh laughed as he brushed his cheek with his fingers like it was a minor irritation. "Yes, Lianiotte. The teacher of melee weapons. I remember you." Lianiotte grabbed two E-11s from her belt, and pointed them at Josh. Josh jumped towards Lianiotte, shooting at her direction three times. Lianiotte twirled her right E-11, and moved it in front of the three bullets, which caused it to deflect. Lianiotte fired with her own dual-E-11s, and Josh deflected with his metal armor on his arm. The mercenary then fired at Lianiotte's general direction, but she sprang up and landed behind Josh, twirling her gun again, and delivered a swift blow to the back of his head. Josh drew his sword in his left hand, and pointed its tip towards Lianiotte. Lianiotte tossed her guns over her shoulders, making them fall over the edge of the platform. She reached at her belt, and drew two swords. She butterflied towards Josh, causing three slashing marks on his chestplate. Josh pointed his E-11 at Lianiotte, but she kicked it up and out of sight, and then cut Josh's shin. She then pushed Josh down on the ground, and Lianiotte sat on him like he was a chair. She then put her left sword behind her back, and cut Josh's side. She placed her swords back on her belt, and cracked her neck. "When I ask you a question, you answer." She backflipped, and jumped inside Josh's ship, and flew out of Coruscant. Josh struggled to regain balance, but when he was finally able to stand again, a ruby lightsaber blade was placed in front of his neck. Behind Josh was a lady. "It's good to see you again... Josh." Her breath smelled sweet. The blade was pulled in front of Josh's neck, burning and slitting his throat. Josh's body fell to the ground. "Pathetic," taunted the lady as she kicked Josh's body off of the platform. She turned around as she put the hood of her robe over her head, concealing her face. She pulled out a com-link. "Mission accomplished. I'm coming home." "Good work. Your next mission is ready for you when you get back, ma'am." "Just remember this. I am the mistress, I choose the missions. If you think you own me, you will die, just like that piece of trash there. Do you understand?" "Yes ma'am but.." "AM I CLEAR?!" "... Y..y..yes Ma'am! Forgive my ignorance and stupidity." "This time I shall. I will return to base in a few parsecs. Over and out." "See you when you return. Over and out." With that, the lady went into her ship, and flew out. Half-a-story below with one arm tightly clinging onto a ledge, Josh was hanging there, holding onto his burning throat. "Who the hell was that? She seemed familiar, but she masked her presence..." He pondered for a moment. "Am I losing the Force... or is the Force stronger in her than it is in me?" He sighed. "Either way, she's gone now. Once I finish healing myself, I can get the hell off this stupid planet. Looks like my mission failed. The organization is going to be really angry with me now... good, healing complete. Time to go..." Josh hauled himself up onto the ledge he had clung onto so tightly, and reached into his pocket, pulling out a small com-link. He spoke into it in a strange language, and moments later, a dark green ship appeared from around the corner, turned around, and opened its hatch. "Just like always, you still come when called. Good girl..." Josh said as he climbed into the cockpit. "Let's get out of here." With that, he flew away. Little did he know, but Flash and Optime were watching his duel with Lianiotte, the appearance of the mysterious lady, and Josh's escape. "So it's true," Flash started. "Josh still has the Force." "But he is now either evil," responded Optime, "or a mercenary working for some outside force." "Lets go to the council to report this mess." "Okay... but err... where did we park?" Chapter Two Black and White Axion was sitting at a desk, in front of a door where the White Academy was training. The Jedi Academy had an area for guests, where the Black or White Academy could train, had they ever went to the academy. Axion grabbed a handkerchief and polished a crystal that had come out of his opened lightsaber hilt. Zoom. CRASH! Axion frowned. He heard a lightsaber swing and dropped his crystal. He swore under his breath, the skipped over to the elevator before him, and then went down. Then he remembered that Lianiotte owed him a lightsaber crystal! Then he wondered if he dreamt that, or maybe... he dreamt that. Either way, he felt that it was neccessary to persuade Lianiotte out of factual knowledge and give him a lightsaber crystal of which he did not deserve! He skipped across the Academy's lobby, ignoring the occassional, "what's he doing?" and, "look at Axion, running like a little SCHOOLGIRL!!!" Axion, however, felt safe enough from his fellow peers in skipping around the Academy... But Buzz stopped him. "What are you doing?" "Skipping around the Academy." "...It's late. Go to sleep." On second thought, Axion had felt a little sleepy. He always felt sleepy, maybe. Maybe that's why some people called him "Sleepy-Axion." Axion nodded, then skipped over to his dormroom. When he entered, he sensed something. He quickly flashed on his lightsaber... But he didn't have one. So he pretended he had one. He pointed his lightsaber in random sections of his dorm, walking cautiously, eyes shifting left and right, then... "I can't see a thing in this darkness!" So he walked over to where he last remembered seeing the light switch. "Oh no, where is it?!" Then he looked lower, and turned on the switch. "I could have sworn it was higher." He sighed. His room was made entirely out of stone. There was a bed in one corner, and a wooden armoire next to his only window, which was closed. A messy pile of clothes covered most of his room, concealing his red, thick silk rug. "No use walking anywhere without my saber unless they tell me to!" He ran back up the elevator to where he was working. He approached the bench, but realized that his lightsaber and two remaining crystals were there no longer. "They're holding me back!" accused Axion. "I should turn to the dark side because of this." From behind him, he heard a click, then a cold steel-like object touched the back of his head, before hearing energy released, and he fell to the ground. Coming out of orbit of Coruscant flew a dual-X-wing, a custom ship, connecting two X-wings together. In the back-center of the two ships there was a hole so the two pilots could communicate. Controlling and firing the ship were both extremely tricky, but the pilots were used to it. The pilots were Flash and Optime. Further from the dual-X-wing was a red Y-wing. "Isn't that Josh's ship?" asked Optime. "Yes, but Lianiotte took control of it, remember?" responded Flash. "I know, but anything can happen... Let me check if Lianiotte's arrived at the Academy." He touched a few buttons on his half of the X-Wing, then, "yes, it says that Lianiotte's there." "Hmm..." The dual-X-wing started firing at the Y-wing. "Wait..." said Flash, "I can sense a friendly presence but... I sensed that in Josh too... I can't place my finger on who it is in space..." The X-wing continued firing. "Are they crazy?!" shouted Lianiotte. She pulled the Y-wing up and reached for her com-link. "Fla—" The dual-X-wing fired an energy bomb towards the Y-wing, causing it to lose control and started falling downwards. "You are SOOOOOO gonna feel some wrath!!!" shouted Lianiotte, before she landed on the nearest planet. The dual-X-wing came into orbit of Yavin IV. "Flash, I'm seeing some strange movement from below." The X-wing quickly cloaked, then landed in the closest opening. Flash and Optime jumped out, then hid in the shadows of the swampy trees. The swamp-forest had the smell of rain and tar strong in the air. The Jedi skipped through the forest, making occasional splashing sounds. Optime stopped suddenly, and pulled out a finger, pointing into a small clearing ahead. "Swamp people," he said quietly. "Swamptroopers?" "No... stupid! Swamp people!" An emerald blade erupted from his hilt, as he glided foward and landed next to robed figures up ahead. "Stupid..." Flash muttered, then joined Optime. They were indeed Tusken Raiders, but however, they wore dark green robes instead of tan. Their war-scream burst from their throats, waving their gaffi sticks. There were around fourty in all. The Swamp People charged at the Jedi, their weapons ready to strike. Optime jumped on the shoulders of one, twisted a Tusken Raider's neck, and cracked it. The Raider fell to the ground, then floated on the swampwater. Flash twirled his lightsaber, threatening the Raiders (who paid no attention to the Jedi's warning) and was ready to strike. Flash flung his lightsaber to his right, cutting a hole through one raider, then slashed it at his left, dismembering another, then jumped up and kicked the raider before him (who fell to the ground) and landed on the raider behind the Jedi, and kicked him as well. Flash held his palm towards both of the Raiders, and caused them to levitate fifteen feet in the air, then smacked their heads together, and then let them fall. Optime was cutting random Swamp People, but one Raider smacked his hand with a gaffi stick when Optime was about to saber him too, causing deep cuts to form in his hand, and his saber flew backwards, toward Flash. Flash quickly turned and held up his saber, deflecting the masterless green blade. SMACK! A gaffi stick delivered a swift blow to his head. Flash stood there for a moment, shocked, before getting on his knees and losing conciousness. Optime grew desperate. He flung his arms around, hoping he would hit something. He tried to pick up the water and overwhelm the raiders many times, but the worst for them was falling down, and an extremely rare snapping of an arm or leg. His lightsaber caught his eye, then Optime commanded for it to return to him, but a Raider struck Optime at the back, and Optime collapsed as well. The raiders crept towards the fallen Jedi, gaffi sticks in hand. And in the moment of getting ready to strike, a tree fell from behind them. CRASH! An ATST started charging towards them. Beams burst from them, striking the Swamp People. Many died, and in the finishing attack, a missile was flung from the ATST, exploding all the remaining survivors. The top of the ATST was pushed open, and out came Axion. "Do you know how hard it is to control one of those on your own?" He whistled, looking at all the corpses spread out in the clearing. He looked at the two Jedi, then frowned. "Hey, these aren't the people that attacked me!" He returned inside the ATST, and then moved on. The academy consulted the Black and White academy upon the whereabouts of Optime, Flash, and Lianiotte. The Black and White academy didn't take long to both say that they were dead. This was especially bad for the academy, because the three had the most information regarding what's going on in the galaxy. The Jedi took their time on praying for the dead. This was a huge fallback for them, but they needed to carry on and retry. For this second attempt of a mission, they selected Solitude, by himself. Solitude was to fly to Coruscant and hear any important information about what's going on from the wandering citizens. If he was lucky, then he'd be able to return to the academy bearing information, unharmed. Solitude was given a day to prepare. He was sitting at the workbench, reconstructing and modifying his lightsaber, when all his crystals fell to the ground. Solitude chased them, and they lead to the Black and White Academy guest room. As he entered, his eyes lit up brightly. Inside the room, Driss held his palms up in the air, but not directly up. Vaughn was doing the same, but at an opposite side. Together, they unleashed a black and white gathering of unbelievably powerful energy. The black and white beams met together, spiraling, creating a gigantic, monstrous savage abomination. The light flooded the room, and mist crept from the two. It seemed that the creature they created was luxuriously swimming in its own energy, flexing its energy-generated arms, leaning back, relaxing. Solitude, wide-eyed, stepped foward. The creature quickly stopped, and ever-so-quickly glared at Solitude. The two Jedi Driss and Vaughn turned their heads toward Solitude. They flashed into transperency three times, then appeared before Solitude, hands at their sides, glaring down at him. Solitude was obviously uneasy, and chuckled nervously. Massadoobie was meditating in his private chambers. The room was a circular, calming room, with running water lightly splashing and in the center of the room was a hologram projector. Around the projector were soft, round pillow-chairs. Massadoobie was sitting on one of them. His mind was greatly relaxed as he could hear the faint sound of the birds on Yavin IV chirping. His soul was exploring, yet his own body was sitting in that room. Then a wild madness surged through his head and tingled it as it burned like fire. His head twitched violently as he could almost hear the sound of a thousand people screaming for a brief moment. Then it stopped. He sensed a wild disturbance in the Force. He felt that he, in his hidden, protective room, was not safe. He slowly stood up, checking the room for any other activity. He saw nothing, then energy burst from the hologram projector, forming a robed figure with an obscured face; hidden in shadow. "Hello, Massadoobie," the figure said plainly. Their voice made it hard to put a finger on what their sex was. "It's been a while." "Who are you?" "The real question is: Who are you? What is your purpose? WHY are you teaching these young fools about the Force. And why are you even trying to make them keep on the path of the light? "You are making a big mistake, Massadoobie. This silence and continual practice of the Force will eventually drive them mad. Skywalker made a mistake to give his position to you. Soon, all will turn into darkness. Before you know it, your corpse shall be burned and your soul shall be damned. "Which is why I have come to protect you from that fate." The figure pulled out their arm, the arm of the robe hanging down, a long finger pointed at the Jedi. From the finger erupted an emerald light which shot swiftly at Massadoobie. Massadoobie quickly jumped to his right, and landed but not without the shin and below of his right leg missing. Chapter Three The Age of War Returned The Age of War was never technically finished. The Empress was revealed to be a clone of Lianiotte. The Empress's apprentice was also a clone. Her cloning took place in a remote planet all completely water, infested with wild and uncivilized Rodians. The Empress, being a virus herself, took over what was left of the Deathstar and evaporated the water of that planet, and the rodians as well, while the Jedi were on it. But that was during the times of the Song of Harmony. In the Age of War, the Jedi fought The Empress and Evil Lianiotte (the apprentice of The Empress) in a small space station overlooking the large gas planet of Yavin. During the entire fight, the planet was in view. Evil Lianiotte was slain, and The Empress took off and fled to an unknown location. Then the Song of Harmony threatened, and the Jedi lives were made a living hell. Aeril had made her new appearance and her threat. Her black blade sucked the very soul of humans, and her red blade would crystalize you into a ruby. She was killed in her own throne room. Xavion and Isonic died in a ship battle against TIE Fighters. But the strangest thing is... The Black and White Academies exploded, leaving no trace of their existance at all. Levi had fought Soong in the ancient Sith Academy. Levi had chance and stabbed Soong in the stomach, but Levi would have died whether or not he defeated Soong. And he was aware of it. The Academy was quiet, as always. But today, in the air, held an unfamiliar aura. The luxury of the peace and silence would have distracted a Jedi's mind from the roaring fires, not making even the slightest cracking racket, eating away at the academy's hallowed halls. In this brutal attack, many Jedi lay dead. Vaughn ran from his training room to discover the Jedi casualties from this sudden and unnoticed attack. He instantly reached out to as many Jedi he could possibly reach, and warned them about the spreading fire. And in the cool breeze, a lone lady stood up top a pillar, soon to collapse from the licking flames. Her dark ruby robe waved in the air, a smooth, black lightsaber hilt held in her black-gloved hand. As Vaughn looked up at this obviously unconcerned lady, he noticed that the lady was not looking at him, although he felt his presence was noted. He then held up a hand and pushed the Force foward. The lady did not stumble, or budge at all for that matter, but her waving robes suddenly and momentarily violently jerked foward, then went back to its silent dance. The lady slowly turned around, and Vaughn instantly noticed her dark, yellow eyes. Her eyes breathed with the dark side of the Force and threatened anyone who looked upon them, and pierced the will of any man. Her features were recognized, but a dark tattoo painted one side of her face. Her skin was pale, but, again, she was somehow familiar— recognized to be a friend. Vaughn did not fear this lady, however, danger loudly called on a distant shore. "Are you lost?" he joked, seeming amused. "I'm not laughing," whispered and echoed the voice of the lady. Her simple voice sent a chill down Vaughn's spine. "Me neither," replied Vaughn. "Good," the lady said. "Then you can stand there not laughing." Vaughn was close to remembering who the lady was, but lost himself in thought. He activated his lightsaber, then, "Well, miss, I guess I can't remove you from the Academy by words, so I guess I'll have to remove you by fo—" The lady slid down the pillar, her feet attached to the smooth surface of the pillar the entire time. When she landed, she gave Vaughn a chilling gaze. "You could have just said so." She span on her heel, and slowly approached for the wide stone doors to exit the academy, slightly creaked open. Vaughn closed the door through the Force. "I'm sorry, miss." The lady stopped, almost at the now closed door. "I can't have you just go off." The obviously Dark Jedi hummed. "What's this? This is not of the Jedi." "What do you mean?" "Heh." The lady turned to face Vaughn again. "I know your little Jedi Code more than you do." She took three, long steps toward Vaughn (who was backing up a little) and upon starting the fourth step... Sped up to Vaughn and was face-to-face with him in less than a second. The Dark Jedi's red lightsaber boomed into existence, and she spun around and met blades with Vaughn's own sapphire blade. Vaughn pushed foward with the Force, but the Force power exploded off onto the Dark Jedi's shoulder, which she simply shrugged off. The lady slowly drew a giant hand clenching onto Vaughn's throat, and the invisible giant lifted Vaughn up into the air. Vaughn threw his lightsaber at the Dark Jedi, and she stepped back to avoid the blade, and Vaughn's lightsaber clattered onto the floor. "You disappoint me, Jedi. I hope your brothers and sisters prove to be much more powerful than you." The Dark Jedi gathered momentum for the following throw, and flung Vaughn high up into the air, over the tall roof of the academy. Before Vaughn fainted, he caught a glimpse of electricity exploding from the Dark Jedi's fingertips, and her face. As his heavy eyelids were drooping, he finally realized who the Dark Jedi that threatened the academy was. Lianiotte. The wet-warm cloth soaked the back of Axion's head. His eyes opened and he woke up in sweat. Before examining his surroundings, he stretched and yawned, but realized he was completely naked. He shoved as much possible skin, including his shoulders, beneath his blanket. His head was no longer propped up on a soft pillow, and hit the semi-hard matress. Then a powerful pain surged through the back of his head, the wet cloth no longer on his head. He put his head where it was, and the pain went away. Warm water slid down his neck, and he sighed with content. The room he was in was constructed of stone, as most rooms of the academy were. He noted the unglowing bacta tank there and the many other beds. The room was dark orange, and had a hot atmosphere. He was in the nursery, all alone. The room was lit, but very dimly. He could tell it was night, but did not hear the usual sounds of night. In fact, he couldn't hear anything but his racing heartbeat. His stomach flopped when he heard a sudden loud footstep. He did not hear the faint noises of the slowly approaching footsteps, and a lady stood in the doorway. "Lianiotte?" he asked. "Y... You owe me a lightsaber crystal!" The shadowy figure slowly made way towards Axion's bed. Her right hand was rapidly dripping with some sort of dark liquid. All Axion could see out of her was pure blackness. And with a ching, a sharp object flashed below the figure's right hand, firmly gripped. The lady placed her wet hand on Axion's forehead, and raised what seemed to be a knife over Axion's chest and... Turned on the light over Axion's bed. Suddenly, the room seemed to grow into life. The bacta glew blue again, and the hot enviroment turned to a clean feeling, maybe a little cold. The stone seemed brighter, and the matress below Axion felt a little softer. He looked over to the lady that had approached. "Hi Queenie," he said. Menaxia slightly jumped. "Oh! I thought you might have still been passed out.. ahh.." She tossed a knife over her shoulder, and imbedded itself into the bed behind her, going so deeply that it looked as if someone thrust it into the matress with strong force. "If someone was laying there... they'd... be in trouble." Menaxia sat in a chair next to Axion's bed, and slid over to a desk next to him. She started working on a datapad, then turned her gaze over to Axion. "All right, everything seems to be in order. You're free to go." "..Where are my clothes?" Menaxia pointed across the room at a small locker. What wasn't that far away seemed to suddenly feel like a mile, as the room seemed to stretch even further from Axion. "Umm... Can you... Get them for me?" "Nope. It'll be good exercise for you." Axion gulped, and lay there for about twenty seconds. "Do I have to hold your hand through everything?" She tugged the bedsheet off of Axion, and the thin cloth was entirely off of him and the bed in under a second. Axion was covering a part of his body. "Get up..." Menaxia said. Axion slowly slid out of bed and slowly started for the wardrobe. Then he tripped, and just lay there on the floor. "Are you going to just lay there, or do I have to—" Axion could hear the bedsheet suddenly drop to the floor. "Bedsheet dropped to the floor?!" he spat. "Why did the bedsheet drop to the floor?!" "Hush! You addled adolescent!" A lightsaber hilt activated, followed by the room being lit up by a green light. Another lightsaber was heard activated, and the two lights - red and green - were competing and mixing at their positions on the cold stone wall. As Axion lay there, staring dumb-foundedly at the pretty colors dancing on the wall near his locker, Menaxia jump and span up in the air, her emerald blade making bright spirals spin about her body. As her feet came in contact with the floor again, she jumped up once more, repeating the spinning. This time, when she landed, she jumped foward and span again. The striking of lightsaber on lightsaber hissed in the small room. Only visible by the red and green lights was shown a figure standing at the doorway, dressed and hooded in plain black. Only their fingertips were not shrouded in shadow. Menaxia jumped again and span about, but was violently jerked backwards by a Force-produced push from the robed figure. She banged against the stone wall behind her, nearly shattering the bacta tank where she almost landed. Once she was able to regain balance, she glared at the figure, then threw her saber beside it, levitating in midair, spinning about. The figure's full attention turned toward the green saber, which attacked it at random intervals. The green saber soon picked up speed, and the figure had to deflect slashes like it was fighting any normal Jedi. When the figure's back was facing Menaxia, she lunged foward, foot-first, toward the figure. There was a crack as her boots smacked against the figure's completely exposed back. "Impressive," hissed the man in the robe, "little girl..." He jumped toward the unarmed Menaxia (who was in shock, but instantly reached out for her lightsaber by the Force) and swung his lightsaber in a circular motion. Menaxia had trouble blocking off some of the quick slashes, but once his wrist was open, she took her chances and lunged at it. The man screamed as the bonds of skin and flesh separated, his hand falling to the floor. Instantly, Menaxia span around giving momentum to her lightsaber, and cut off two-thirds of the man's neck and his entire left shoulder, as well as part of the collar bone in a single, fluid motion. And without delay, she twirled once more, severing the man's upper-body from his waist. Immediately, she ran over to Axion to see if he was alright, but was interrupted by a scream from the embarassed young Jedi, followed by a momentary shock of her own. _______________ slorp This post was edited by Lian Del Rey on Jul 01 2005 05:10pm. |

Hello! Very well written story up so far! You have a very vivid imagination! I like the way you have desribed the battles, with all the elite twirling ^_^ The only complaints I can make is that some sentences could be arranged a little better (in my opinion) and also, the tenses shouldn't be changed so suddenly at certain places. <---These are only small complaints! As I said, GREAT STORY! Im looking forward to reading more of your work! Keep it up! Optime _______________ ------------------------ |

Yay, I haven't heard this kind of response in a while! Anyway, Dicemaster, Mysterious Writer's stories were posted when I was banned, so... no. If you dig deep inside the Star Wars discussion and look for "novel" you should be able to read the originals. _______________ slorp |

Quote: heh... so Lian, you want the other writers to get off their arses and write, or are you going solo now? I honestly have no idea. But the storywriters, all of them, were good. So suggestions from them would be great. Including you. Ha. Quote: Hey, another story. Reminds me of the stories we used to write... That's right! _______________ slorp |
