Ok for everyone who would like to participate in the 2 vs 2 tournament please fill out a reply using the format below. Ingame name(only if it is different than your forum name): Name of partner(forums and ingame): Team name (optional, mainly for fun): Preferred time for tournament(please include timezone): Method of contact(how you wish to be contacted: profile, e-mail, msn, snail mail, etc. Please don't choose snail mail =P): Rules: 2 teams would face off at a time. Each team would have their own different saber colour. The arena will probably be one of the mats. Friendly fire will be on. No force powers allowed (except jump/saber skills). Each player will start with 100health and 25 shield. It will be an elimination tournament where the team with the last player standing will advance, and the losing team is knocked out of the tournament. If a player disconnects in the middle of a duel, both teams turn off their light sabers and when the player reconnects s/he is knocked down to the health they had prior to d/c and the duel continues. The deadline for registering is June 30 2005. There is currently no set date for the tournament. I will look at the preferred times and try to accommodate everyone. If you need to register past the deadline you can, just post in this thread. But just make sure you tell me that you did, so I will know to check it and add you. In case anyone was wondering you need to have a partner before registering, no partners will be provided sorry =P. Have fun everyone! bono_bob: I'm planning on splitting the teams into different blocks. Each block will contain players with the same prefered time. They will play on the same day at the same time. Then the winner of each block will organize a special time to face off against each other to determine the winner of the tournament. The reason that I don't want teams to fight each other and then report the winner to me is because I want to make sure every match is ran the same way. Sazabi: No you can't enter the tournament with only 1 player. You must of a partner. Instead of everyone gathering toghether the same day, could teams organize times them selves to face off against each other? Then get someoen else who happens to be on to watch the match.
