mwahahaha i know where motrec got his name!   I've probably told everyone here the tarpman story numerous times, but here goes: A while ago I was on Tallepyon's IRC channel playing trivia. A question came up to which the first letters were T and A. I guessed "tarpman" (wrong ), changed my name to it, and never changed it back.Before that, I was RyTandus (now motrec must DIE! ). Hot Sauce was the name of a cool streetballer and i thought it was a great name for gaming and such...SO I STOLE IT!!! However, when i found out that i seriously sucked at JA i decided to drop the "HOT" lol. "Sauce" is still pretty good  . Apparently the JA community is a pretty diverse bunch. There's a HotSauce out there. W/E Sauce is sauce and HotSauce is hotsauce. simliar names, different people.JA is my first and only mp game so i don't have any other gaming names. Unless! y'all want my many aliases!!! nah. |

His daughter and brother are killed by a group of people, and he goes to lenghts to start an entire war to eliminate them. It's a very sad book, but the name stuck with me. I've had a lot of names in the past, but usually I stick with the same one for each community. I've always been Ranja here but I've always wanted to change it. Since Ranja ends with an 'a' people sometimes think I'm a girl. Well, in case there was any confusion in that last sentance, I'm not. The name Ranja honestly is just a couple of letters I put together, nothing more interesting than that. However I have been told that it's like a certain brand of lemonaid in Dutch. The oldest name I've used is Rainer511. That is the first internet alias I had. At that time if I played a game where I could use a certain element I would pick water, so that's how I got the "Rain" part. That didn't sound like a name so I put Rainer. Rainer seemed to be used a lot so I added the 511. (My birthday is May 11) I used this name most often in my gameboy ROM Hacking days, and anywhere else I don't feel like making a name. Another name I use is Tritonic. This one I'm not very fond of, I don't know why I ever used it but it's still active as my email account and a few other random things. It's a name I use on the MUD I play. (MUD is Multi User Dungeon. It's like a online RPG but free and all in text.) Eryk Moonrider - Now I like this name, much more interesting as a Star Wars name. Eryk (pronounced the same as Eric) means "Ever Powerful." Moon Rider is the name of an old song that I don't like very much, but combined into one name as Moonrider it makes for an interesting Star Wars name. I've often been tempted to change my name to that over here at the Academy. Currently I'm using this name for the MUD I play. My jedi name is Mortius. Hmm, that name goes way back. The name Mortius goes as far back as the year 2000, so its about 4 years old now. I first used it on my Diablo 2 character that was a necromancer, and have used it for everything ever since. so if you see a player in any game that goes by the name of Mortius, it is probably me. |

Now i am mostly stuck with it becuase I got in the JA as a JAT while i was still a n00b for the most part. Later to not sound so goofy I started calling myself XIII and JK-XIII to look cooler. Well, quite simply, "Battlin' Billy" Smith is my favorite hockey player of all time. He was the star goaltender for the New York Islanders in the late 70s and during their Stanley Cup Dynasty from '80 to '84, one of the last ones in the NHL. He's since been inducted to the NHL Hall of Fame and now is a goaltender scout/coach for my NY Isles. When I 1st joined the JA, I was using variations of my RL™ nick, Nuke. I signed up as Nuke Skywalker but then discovered that there was already a Luke Skywalker here (yes, the Jedi Master) and decided it would be too confusing. So I wanted to choose between Geddy Lee (singer/bassist/keyboardist from the band Rush) and Battlin' Billy. I decided that Battlin' Billy would be more appropriate for the JA. People call me BB, Billy, Billeh, B-Billy.
